8 Pack Tent Stakes Heavy Duty Metal Tent Pegs for Camping Steel Tent Stakes 8 inch Unbreakable and Inflexible

I've used these stakes now for four winter camps in Wisconsin and Michigan, so I can give an informed review of them. I have been very impressed with their quality. I purchased them because my other stakes didn't hold up to being hammered into frozen ground...they ended up bent and nearly impossible to remove from the dirt. I received these heavy duty tent stakes and have used them to secure my tent and guy lines. They easily go into frozen, rocky ground without bending. Perhaps more importantly, they are surprisingly easy to remove. The hang hole on the side of the stake is easy to grab onto with the hook end of my hammer and with a couple of twists, it pulls right out. With other stakes, the frozen ground keeps a death grip on them which has often resulted in it bending or breaking. These would probably be a little heavy for some who backpack, but for car camping, these work great!

I use these giant tent stakes to pin down my inflatable artwork to the ground. I find that they are heavy duty enough, work well, and are a good value for their price. Installation and removal is not a problem. I haven't used the little eyelet much in my application so I can't vouch for its usefulness. The tab is welded on well and seems sturdy after multiple uses. I was skeptical of this product but I will say that they are a great mid range between a light weight tent stake and a super heavy duty circus tent pin.

These work very great, puts the cheap wire tent stakes to shame. I use a rubber hammer to drill these in and a metal hook to pull them out. Don't forget to angle them away. Fully metal all the way through, not hollow pipes. Very strong, not sure if they can bend without the use of machinery. These will hold a lot if set up right. They are around eight inches long and a half inch thick.

Heavy-duty, stakes held tent and rainfly in place through some intense winds at Badlands NP. Not sure what I would have done without these. High quality, sturdy, and great for car-campers. I recommend using the first stake you remove to help you remove the others, by putting the bent area of the top to pull them out using the hole for guidelines. Beware, if you're a backpacker or ultralighter, these definitely will not be for you, they are quite heavy and will likely be too much weight for these individuals.

First thing I noticed was the weight, then the nice bag they came in, then---the cord lines, which I must have missed seeing when purchasing. Anyway, as yet unused, but they feel well made, I chose the design for a particular purpose and I ex[ect they will work well. The only thing missing is a hammer, but I am sure you can find a rock.

Got these to replace the flimsy steaks that came with my Kelty tent. These are rather robust, and work well!! The last time we went camping we one afternoon we had 50mph wind gust, and my tent stayed planted!!

Ordered a set of 16 black stakes. The package comes with a black felt cloth bag and four luminous green guide strings. Each stake is almost as long as the length of my hand. Definitely stronger and more sturdy compared to standard stakes. I will try out in the forthcoming camping trip.
