Do these batteries work for the fc40?

Yes those will work in a phantom fc40

How long will the dji phantom fly with standard battery, and is extended flight possible with larger batt ?

Standard battery about 10 min. I have 3 other "extended " batteries. I only get about 9 min out of them and they do not fit as well. I would recommend OEM. And buy extra chargers. I have 9 batteries and 3 chargers.

My battery after about 5 charges dosen't want to charge anymore. Charger flashes red?:(

Maybe you have defected battery or charger. Try to charge another battery with the charger and see which one isn't working properly. If this occurred solely after 5 charges I'm sure wherever you bought it from will be more than happy to give you a new one, especially if it is within 30 days of purchase. These kinks happen every once in a while and they expect these. Sorry about your problem. But I hope they fix it as soon as possible. Take care.

Any one have trouble with these batteries not charging after use? I have had two. one finally charged again but one will not.

I have not had this problem, but read on a forum of guy having problem and had to fool the battery to get charger to charge it , I'll gave to find this site and what he had to do.
