This tool offers an extensive range of features for a good price compared to some other tools. Supports almost all makes and models of cars, and for each vehicle you can choose either generic OBD-II data or manufacturer-specific diagnostics. You can perform an auto search when connected to your vehicle which allows you to talk to any module on the vehicle network (not just the ECM), read codes, read data or stream data onto a graph to allow detailed analysis of the readouts. This means you can read modules like the body control module to see causes of alarm being triggered, status of any sensor in the vehicle, and reset any codes as needed. The tool also has bidirectional controls, which make diagnosis easy, for example cylinder deactivation, valve/solenoid actuation, as well as triggering some special functions such as static DPF regeneration, TPMS reset, headlight alignment etc. Depending on the vehicle, you can reset/relearn sensors or modules, re-code injectors and put electronic parking brakes into service mode. Overall seems to be an excellent tool for the price, battery life is pretty much a full day of use and it comes with a USB-C charger (any USB-C charger will work though) when it runs out of battery. You do need a WiFi connection to perform some diagnostics to confirm license status (you get 1 year free license for all vehicles and functions, but after this point some functionality is lost unless you renew).

Does not charge, A very expensive brick. Used only a handful of times as im a private motorist not a garage / business. Would not recommend , buy something wired and where battery or user service possible. Not even 12 months old and will not power on, have left to charge... If I could return it I would ! Cannot get through to reseller via Amazon. Update Nov 2023 , have been in liaison with Supplier and replaced motherboard DIY. Now have a working unit however software is different and does not allow me to do what I could before. All I keep getting is asked for videos , and cannot make progress. Just waste of time, energy and money. Buy something which works, that doesnt need updates, and doesnt promise what the support guys dont even know how it should.

This could be a great product as it has free updates. However. The free updates are for their own software. What’s missing from the add is the fact that you have to buy a key for every brand of vehicle manufacturer and it’s £50/yr

Purchased to reset a fault code after a repair on my VW Passat which it did with no bother. Since been used on a Range Rover Evoke (DPF reset after an Italian tune up) & a Transit Custom (after an ABS sensor replacement) No problem with it at all!

Audi A5 Lexus is220 and a VW Passat can only find the Audi would not find the Lexus or the Volkswagen Passat is common as anything and yet products has port wanted me to send the chassis number engine size dirt blah blah blah to see if they could get an upgrade I'm not waiting weeks for that not good enough head to send it back. Quick update bought another obd reader turns out there all the same different names but same thing just different branding oh and it doesn't find Kia Rio's either!

Do not buy this Scanner as it cannot relearn Gearbox Replacement on Fiat 500 Twin Air.They say it's compatible but they are lying.
