Perfect rail to help get in or out of bed or roll over in bed. Easy to assemble and install. I have an adjustable bed so I placed the base between the mattress and bed frame - works great. The added pouch can be accessed from either side depending on how you position the top rail part. I ordered one to try it, now I am going to order a second one for the other side. Good price and good value.

This rail looks bigger in the picture but actually it’s about 20” wide. Even though it’s small it withstands up to 300 lbs! It also is a terrific price as it’s way way less than the other overpriced rails. It installs simply, assembles easily and works wonderfully! Good solid steel tubing slides way under the mattress and it’s width, though 20” stops a full grown adult from moving it, bending it or shoving it out of the way! The strap? If you’re a namby pamby baby and can’t figure out a simple strap just go to YouTube and there’s plenty of videos to watch and hold your hand to attach it. However, you won’t need the strap once you shove the long bottom tubing under the mattress. The strap is overkill and included to satisfy people who need assurances. I purchased It a used one and it was missing the clips for the piece of the tubing that connects together so I drilled small holes and used rivets to hold it together. I also mounted the storage basket on the other side by drilling out mounting clip rivets and re riveting it the opposite side . Its just more convenient to use it if you are laying in bed. Otherwise very good and sturdy. Fits perfect between box sping and top mattress. Didn't use the strap it stayed in place without it.

I like that this is a short bed rail as my elderly mother is still able to get out of bed, and this deters her from rolling off the bed (we have it close to the top of the bed where she tends to roll off her pillows). Easy to assemble and seems sturdy. Size height is adjustable as well. We keep it on the shorter height. Side pocket is nice for her to put her tv remote control or a small book.

My father-in-law hates to admit he is getting older and needs support items, but after he fell out of bed this was a requirement. And now this is his favorite thing in a long time! Having something to pull against to get up gives him so much more independence. Very secure, small enough he doesn't feel trapped or like he is in a medical bed. Now he is getting out of bed again after being bed-bound because he doesn’t want to admit (or accept) that he needs the help, but this lets him do it himself.

very easy to set up great safety device don't have to be able to use it. I'm disabled works great for me.

Wish the pocket was little firmer to hold drink in but very sturdy and lightweight. Handles 220 with no movement once strapped in.

Used to get in and out of bed after having a csection. Very easy for my husband to install and super sturdy. Would recommend!
