I'll never buy expensive ovulation tests again! These were easy to use, and accurate! Confirmed ovulation according to BBT, these were perfect for finding my LH peak. Hopefully I don't have to continue buying for long, but until I don't this is the brand I'll buy!

I ordered these because my husband and I are trying to conceive our second baby and it's taking longer this time around than it did for our first baby - I was using the Flo app to track my periods/predict ovulation and I was curious if these would tell me I was ovulating around the same time that the app predicted - turns out I ovulate later than predicted, so that is nice to know. I've used these for two cycles now and I'm still not pregnant, so take that as you will. Pros: -Easy to use. Pee in a cup, dip the stick in for 5 seconds, lay it flat, let five minutes pass and then read your result. I use the Premom app to take a picture and record my results and it tells me if my LH level has peaked. It's nice to have a convenient way to track the results day over day. -Cost effective. For the number of test strips you get, the price is good. Probably my biggest gripe with these is that the package itself doesn't come with very thorough instructions. There's no instructions on the outside of the bag, instead it asks you to scan a QR code to get the instructions online. I also (incorrectly) assumed that I should use these first thing in the morning like you would for a pregnancy test, when in fact you shouldn't use your first urine of the day for these. After realizing this, for my second cycle I started testing around 8am (I wake up/go to the bathroom around 6am most days) and the results seemed much more accurate during the second cycle than the first (I never got a true 'peak' during the first cycle).

At 1st I was afraid to buy these because I never really pay attention to my cycle. My cycle been off for sometime now. At One point I had period like 2 times for the year. I started taking metformin pills back in 2024 for type 2 diabetes. I realized after being on the pills I started having a period every month. Now I realize I’m ovulating! These are the best for people trying to get pregnant as they cost 1/4 the price of Clearblue Easy and they work. For those of us who need to track ovulation month after month, particularly with an irregular cycle, the cost of ovulation tests can really add up, so I'm relieved to have this reasonably priced alternative. I can assure you these work as I use them in conjunction with blood and ultrasound monitoring at my fertility doctor. I use these tests around the time of month I might be ovulating and once it detects an LH surge I go to my doctor to confirm and the Pregmate tests have never been wrong. They are also easy to use. At first I didn't like the idea of peeing in a cup, but turns out it's cleaner than peeing on a stick. I used to use Clearblue Easy digital tests and found that when I used them the pee splashed off the test and all over me. I have never had that problem with peeing in a cup. Also it can be more convenient to do the cup method because sometimes I'm pressed for time and don't have the five mins to wait around for a result. With a cup you can put it aside and get to it later (hopefully that doesn't sound gross, but if you do these tests often enough you probably understand what I'm talking about). Finally, the results are easy to read. It's very clear when it's positive and when it isn't: if the second line appears and is as dark as the control line, then it's positive. If the second line isn't there or more commonly, is faint, it's negative. As for when to take the test, my fertility doctor said first thing in the morning. I've tried testing at different times of day to confirm and first thing does give me the best results. Good luck!
