Mass Air Flow Sensor Replaces 10393948

The fitment was spot on and matched the original sensor perfectly. Once installed, the engine ran noticeably smoother, throttle response improved, and the check engine light went away. Exactly what you want from a replacement part. For the price, this is a great alternative to OEM. These sensors are a key part of the engine management system, measuring incoming air so the engine can properly adjust fuel delivery, which lines up with the performance improvement I saw right after install .

2012 Avalanche, with rich bank codes, rough idle on cold start, and loss of power. Also engine not running correctly can trigger ABS and stabilitrac failure. Immediately noticed a much better idle and power restored on acceleration. Stopping idle remains strong now, where before RPMs would dip and flutter. At a quarter of the price of a local parts shop, this isn't bad at all. Unless this review is updated, it's still working well. Super simple install, you just need a Torx bit for 2 screws. Comparing the Delco i removed the interior filaments and resistor LOOKS different, but wow..truck sure is running great now, and one small part solved SO many issues. No more check engine light for lean/rich banks. Great value!!

My 2012 Silverado 2500HD with a 6.0 was sputtering, coughing, dying, had poor acceleration if any, and idling terribly. Tried plugs and wires, didn't help. Took a chance on this sub $30 part, which I changed in 3 minutes. With shop labor at $200 per hour, you can change a lot of sensors yourself while troubleshooting. Instant improvement, back to normal with a new cheap Chinese MAF sensor.

This sensor lasted about 2 months, then filled with water and shorted out when it got wet. The top was not glued down all the way, allowing water to get inside.

We had to return this product. According to precision tune our MAF sensor was bad when we had just replaced it with this one. We think this isn't the case. There were no codes after replacing the part and it was driving better. Precision tune in Goldsboro NC insisted other wise and replaced parts they were told not to. This is on top of refusing to honor a 2 year warranty on a transmission they replaced a year ago. Again this is no fault of the part I purchased from Amazon. So they will get 5 stars from me. Fast, reliable, and thank you for helping us with the return in a bad situation.

I usually buy OEM parts - they just seem to work better and lost longer. I've had a slightly rough idle for a long time, but didn't feel like paying $200-$500 to have the problem diagnosed/fixed. Sure enough the check engine light came on as I was getting ready to sell the truck - both bank 1 and 2 were running rich. I didn't want to throw a $95 part at the problem (OEM MAF) so I tried this $30 part. My idle smoothed out immediately, the check engine light stayed off, and I picked up 2mpg on the highway.

It does the job but it's not perfect

This item was well manufactured and properly packaged. My only complaint is with Amazon. They won't ship to my town with many items and it seems like more and more items come up with "doesn't deliver to this address". I have an alternate address but I need to drive 90 km to get it. Basically makes the item more expensive than using alternative suppliers like Rock Auto.
