Could be better...
Does the job mostly, but is not very secure and moves around too easily.

It works for me
I use this with a Toshiba Satellite L675D laptop. It is easy to set up and I like the typing angle. It is designed for a solid surface and not your lap. It does everything that the Product Description advertises: Reduces neck, shoulder and wrist strain. Folds flat for easy storage and portability. Ideal for the mobile executive, students, frequent travelers. Rubber feet won't slip on desktop, airline tray tables etc. For 13-17 inch notebook computers

pretty good stand for the low cost
I have a Toshiba Tecra with a 14 inch screen. This stand works very well. I use it on a solid surface and have not had any issues. The stand is a bit wobbly if you move your laptop around on the desk a lot or moving cables in and out a lot of your laptop ports. But if you just need a basic stand on your desk, this should be perfect for you. I like the height level of the laptop screen when it is on the stand. I use an external keyboard and have had no issues. One word of caution, and if you need a stand where you will be using the laptop keyboard, not sure how well this will work as I don't think it is really built to stay in place while you are typing on the laptop. If you need this functionality, probably should spend a little more money to buy a more stable stand. One last thing, I love how portable the stand is because it all folds up quickly and is only 1/4 inch thick and about 10 inches long and fits easily into a laptop bag pocket to take it with you when traveling.
