Laptop died recently and needed a way to retrieve the contents off the old drive. There did not seem to be many options for mSATA SSD enclosures so I am grateful this one has worked fine and done it's job well. It's also reasonably priced which is nice. My only gripe is that it is wide and takes up a bit of space when plugged into my laptop via USB. Overall though very pleased with the purchase.

Sturdy quality, a bit heavy for what it is but still good. A bit thick and might not work for some devices as it needs quite a bit of space to fit and reach in when plugged in.

Product works great and is easy to use. Reads both SAS and SATA drives in just a few seconds and is very sleek and blends well on my desk. However this was clearly a returned unit and showed signs of wear. Product still works fine but definitely wasn't new.

I use this device to access a Seagate Exos 24TB SAS drive. It works great. The write speed is ~270 MB/s, which is comparable in speed to a similar SATA hard drive.

Coping from the inserted SSD, the unit locked up repeatedly after about 40Gb. Not sure if this is the problem but, as noted, unit gets HOT. Another issue (unrelated to the problem) -- unit is wide and after inserting into 1 USB, it block another. A USB ext. cable would fix, but not included. Pic shows 2 screen shots of data dropping out before freezing. (2nd is dark as PC was locked)

I can't speak to the electronics or speed - that isn't an issue for me - but the build quality of this case is impressive and the circuit board did what I needed. Some other reviews appear to be for different products. This is for the MAIWO mSATA SSD to USB 3.0 Adapter Enclosure for 30x30mm 51x30mm Mini SATA Drive. No cables, no thermal pads, just a circuit board to plug an mSATA SSD into a USB port, an awesome heavy duty black metal case and a little hardware. The mSATA drive snaps securely into the circuit board. Also include are screws and posts to hold a short 30 x 30 mm drive to the board, and an end plate for the case with tiny screws. Only two of each hardware are needed, but these little things are easy to drop so Maiwo includes three of each! Also a nice Phillips driver for the tiny screws.

After using this case, my SSD was reborn as a USB stick. It looks great and works perfectly. I love it.

Works great on SAS drives. This is the only device that I found that did work with SAS drives. And the price is quite affordable.

Un excelente dispositivo para darle nueva vida a tus unidades mSATA. Me sorprendió la calidad y la rapidez con la que llegó, además viene con tornillos extras e incluso con un pequeño desarmador para que no tengas pretexto. 5 estrellas sin duda.

Great product,works very well. I used a USB extension cord because it covers 2 USB ports. I recommend this product. I have 2 with different names on them but same setup. Good Deal.
