Owl Pellets (Set of 10 with Bone Chart)

These were really great! My science class had a great time dissecting these. I thought they might be a little small, but there was a surprising amount to see, even with the small size.

At first the pellets seemed small, but they were packed with bones. The correlating sheet helped with ID. Great buy!

Good for my classroom but wish I would have ordered larger ones.

6 year wanted these after seeing a show on PBS. They did not disappoint. We dissected 3 of pellets and found 2 skulls, jaw bones and lots of small bones. Surprisingly they did not smell bad or unpleasant- there was a smell but it reminded me of being in the forest.

Owl pellets were as described in size; students loved exploring!

My class thoroughly enjoyed these pellets. I had an varied age range of students, 3rd to 5th graders, and they were very excited upon hearing they would dissect owl pellets. I hope to purchase these pellets again and highly recommend the product. They were shipped quickly and were not as expensive as pellets that I had purchased from another science supplier. The quality of the product was excellent. The students found several bones in each pellet.

What an awesome, educational item! It was so fun to teach ny niece about owl pellets. I even bought a seperate book about owl puke to read together. We found many skulls!

We live in CA and I wanted to buy pellets from a different state so my class could experience different animals found within the owl pellet. These pellets come from WA and were exactly what I wanted. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is that the owl pellets varied so much on their sizes and my students didn't think it was fair that their neighbor had a bigger one. I explained to them that every owl pellet is unique in size, so I am not sure if this could have been helped or not. Otherwise, FANTASTIC product.
