omron hem 7156t is a very good and accurate blood pressure monitor the intelliwrap technology gives much better accuracy compared to low budget models i checked my bp and my family’s bp and the readings match very well in the screenshot the three readings around 23:00 are from three different people so they are not false readings also the readings at 17:44 and 17:46 are from one person and the reading at 17:51 is from another person so the variation is normal and based on different individuals the device is very helpful because you can immediately know if your bp is high and visit the doctor on time instead of waiting until things get serious the cuff fits well the machine is simple to use and the app sync works smoothly overall a very reliable bp monitor for home use update: on 9 jan my fathers bp got high he didn’t knew now that night i don’t know what happened to me i just asked him let me check your bp and i was shocked to see 186/116 high blood pressure still he was fine no different feeling still i thought his old medicine was not working properly we had an emergency bp medicine so i recommended him to have then by 11:30pm his bp got slightly better it came to 149/89 pulse went up because of the emergency bp lowering medicine on 10 jan then we went to the best cardiologist doctor in our city before he used to do treatments with a physician but i said no cardiologist is the best for treating hypertension then he did multiple test and changed his medicines and then over the time his bp got better and under controlled now its between 120-130 systolic and 80-90 diastolic after taking new medicine for 2-3weeks now its more than 2months his bp stays under controlled so i would recommend getting this omron bp monitoring machine who have high blood pressure so that you are not late before its too late

Pretty good and accurate. Purchased this to replace my 10 year old Omron BP monitor. The bluetooth function requires an account to save data and only one user is supported. But from a reliable seller and pay attention to the seller during delivery. I purchased from a reliable seller and delivery was from some random seller with missing defective components. Eneded up replacing which took 1+ hour of the delivery guy at my door holding me hostage. The replacement was delivered by the seller who I ordered from initially.

Purchased Omron HEM-7156T (Manufactured Dec 2025). The device is highly accurate when used properly. I measured after sitting calmly for 5 minutes, arm supported on table at heart level. Took 3 readings 2 minutes apart and variation was only 3–4 mmHg, which is medically acceptable. IntelliWrap cuff ensures proper positioning and reduces error. Very satisfied with build quality and consistency. Highly recommended for home BP monitoring.

I will start with the positives. 1) The readings are reasonably accurate. I cross-checked the device with a sphygmomanometer at a doctor friend's place and repeated readings all came well within 0 to +10mm of Hg. The Omron always showed 3 - 7mm higher than his sphygmomanometer, usually within + 5 mm. This was OK with me. 2) Has a large armband/loop that is easy enough to place on upper arm using a single free hand. It also tells you if installed wrongly, which is highly unlikely with this design anyway. 3) Bluetooth connectivity with data storage is very useful to monitor BP variations over time. Primary reason for my selecting this model from OMRON over some of their cheaper models. 4) Operation is pretty simple and straight-forward, and very easy to learn. Similarly pairing with my Samsung Galaxy Android phone was a breeze, connected on the first attempt. The software displays graphic representation of BP readings and pulse rate by date/week/month/year 5) Was received with 4 Duracell alkaline AA batteries, not some cheap chinese makes. 6) Build quality, including the quality of the plastic body feels up-market, and the unit has a rugged feel to it. Now the negatives. 1) No a/c power adapter provided with the unit despite the higher price. It is an optional extra, and isn't cheap. It is in fact ~40% the cost of an entry level OMRON machine. 2) The carry case supplied along-with is next to useless and offers zero protection if you drop or accidentaly bump the unit. 3) Neither the unit nor it's software has a facility for a second user. Fortunately there seems to be a "guest user" option available in the base unit, though the data in this is not saved. 4) Does not display replicate readings in software if multiple consecutive readings are taken. Only average is displayed. Similary standard deviation figures would have been very easy to implement for the replicates, to infer confidence level in the readings obtained. 5) A better manual would be a very welcome addition! Overall, a decent product that checks many of my boxes, hence the 4-star review.

Cuff is hard one not flexible,.so if you have weak patients it does not fit properly (loose) & readings inaccurate.. Also if you're person with big arms it tight and may feel cuff may break if your expand frequently
