Sturdy
Ok I wavered between 5 and 5 stars but went with 5 for how sturdy it is. Assembling was fine, the only thing I wasn’t directed on was the screws for the drop down table I’ve done it but not sure the washer is in the right place but it will be easy to change. I managed to put it together on my own so that shows how well it goes together. It is a fair weight so I feel safe using it praying it doesn’t collapse on me!!! Dry pleased I bought it a good price for the quality of the product. The only nibble is the rubbish drawer but it works I just need to sort something more robust.

It has lots of space to use, easy to put together. I was so happy to have the adjustable portion of the table for my sewing machine…the only problem is that area shakes w my machine when I sew fast. I have tightened it but I think I’ll just have to get used to it or sew slower. I love the table and it works great in my area.

We love this desk. Perfect for our daughter to craft, sew or play computer games. Just what we were looking for. It is very sturdy and has plenty of work space. It was easy to assemble. My seventeen year old son had it together in about an hour. Cant wait to see what she will creat with this new addition to her crafting tools.

I'm using this as a sewing table. It was a great purchase. It gives me tons of room to work on and I like having the shelf that lowers to put my sewing machine on. I wouldn't say the shelf mount is the sturdiest that it could be but it works and that's what counts. I love the fact that it has a leaf which I mostly leave down because the table is plenty big without it but I have had it up a few times and enjoy the extra space. I would definitely recommend this table.

The table is beautiful but was a bit difficult to assemble. The lift for the machine is still lower that even with table, it wouldn't go up any more. The storage is very nice, I really like the table.

Overall this desk will work nicely for my daughter's sewing projects. It seems reasonably sturdy once assembled, but the edgebanding on the desk and shelves is very cheap. The issues I had with assembly were caused by the plastic cams they use to attach the legs to the desktop spinning in the holes and not allowing me to tighten the bolts down. I did cabinetry work for two decades, and have had to deal with crap hardware before, so to me it was just some extra time. To stop the cams from spinning, you have to carefully pull them out of the holes by starting the bolts deep enough to get a pair of pliers or vicegrips on, then pull them out gently and as straight as possible to avoid blowing out the holes. Once you have them out, apply super glue gel to the sides of the cam, then carefully re-insert them in to their holes. Once the glue sets up you should have no problem getting the bolts in, but if I had no experience with this kind of thing and didn't have a good grasp on the engineering of this type of furniture, I can see it being sent back as defective. Its an extra step you shouldn't need to take on the installer/assembly end, therefore it needs to be changed on the manufacturer's end. So, once I got that under control the rest went together smoothly and now my daughter has her own project space.
