Wire harness supplied fit car connectors perfectly. Connector on car to the right of steering column just like instructions said but a little further up under dash. Not much room under the dash to work or see on the Edge but unit programmed easy by the directions and worked flawlessly.

I’m fairly handy with most car maintenance and repairs, but lost as can be when it comes to electronics, so I expected to have a bad time installing this, even if it said plug and play. Legitimately took me 5 minutes at most, I spent longer hiding the module and zip tying it out of sight than I did installing it. Programming is a breeze, and it works flawlessly every time.

Installed on a 2015 Ford Edge, as most reviewers noted installation was very quick and easy, it also worked very well. The problem I encountered was a message on the IPC after the remote was used "To drive press brake and start button". This message would not clear out even after driving the car. I contacted the seller telling them of the problem they quickly sent this response back "This sounds like TSB SSM 45145 a Ford dealer will need to update the IPC" this is a technical service bulletin put out by Ford regarding the installation of Genuine Ford Accessory Remote Start. Not sure where Ford dealers would stand on this request but will find out. Apparently this isn't a problem on all Edge's, just wanted to make those who are considering this remote starter that this could be an issue. I may be wrong but I believe this problem would probably occur regardless of brand of remote starter purchased. Good luck, hope this helps.

Worked good for a few weeks. Now car would start on its own randomly, battery would drain and fans made weird noises and ran extremely fast. Removed this remote starter and all problems went away instantly

Turned out to be an easy install and my husband absolutely loves being able to start his car on cold mornings from the house

Came across this in an ad and ordered it. The other reviews are correct. Took less than 10 minutes to install and zip tie it up. I'd priced having one installed for $580. This was way better and serves the exact same purpose. Very happy with it
