Well made and high quality product as one would expect from this German manufacturer. The alarm is loud enough and has a clear time display.

good- not bright, bright would be bad if you were trying to keep the room dark good- not loud alarm so other person doesn't get disturbed

Very dim display, no way to increase brightness, small in size, time cannot be seen unless you touch the clock (which then activates the backlit display for few seconds). Not even returnable. To summarise - Don't buy

This is fairly good product but the seller lacks any semblance of customer satisfaction ...I had inadvertently purchased the product only to find it did not fulfill my requirement fully with its mediocre lighting feature. Very nice alarm clock. Sleek design. We like how the display is non intrusive, if you simply brush the top of the clock it will then illuminate itself. Hopefully it will last as long as our previous Braun alarm clock. - For size comparison, with a 1990s Braun flip-cover.

Absolutely brilliant! No light pollution at all until you tap the top to check the time. The beeps get progressively louder. Super easy to use. Absolutely delighted. Seller was great with a super fast service. Highly recommend

I am pleased to say alarm clocks haven't stop evolving, or at least some of them! This one is a beautiful piece of design AND easy and practical to use. I also like that the alarm sound starts very gently and only goes up in the volume if the user (is still asleep and) does not stop it. The upper button that switches on the 10 s light and stops the alarm for 5 minutes is a touch design - light touch is all it needs. The numbers are dim enough not to stress an insomniac out. It is clear whether or not the alarm is on and the setting buttons are intuitive. Overall I am happy with the product, I haven't found a downside yet.

This alarm clock knows it has ONE JOB and it does it perfectly. It is super easy to set the time and alarm. It is totally black and totally silent at night, although it will light up slightly if you need to read it. And it has a pleasant alarm noise that does not shock you but will increase in volume if you don't respond. It is also cordless so you don't have an annoying power cord running off your bedside table. This alarm clock maker understood the mission.
