Perfect gift my Mom. She loves them different attachments and is fascinated with taking them off and putting them back on. Sometimes one will get tucked away! You may want to stitch them on just in case.

Game Changer! My mom has Parkinson's and related dementia. She would often fidget with her blankets and clothing as if she was sewing or cooking. We placed this on her lap the day it arrived and she took right to it. This occupies her mind when it starts to wander. It calms her down and keeps her busy. She even fidgets with it in her sleep.

This was just perfect. My mother would have loved it but she passed the day before it arrived. It was soft and light. Perfect for the lap. The quality was really nice. It would have kept her busy little hands occupied. The ribbons, the beads, the fringe and being able to put her hands inside for warmth and still have that ball to grasp. It was perfect. She had Alzheimer's and those hands need to be kept busy. I would highly recommend this item. Oh, and I thought I could make something like this myself, by the time I went out and bought the materials I had spent the same amount of money and I hadn't even constructed it yet. Needless to say that when I found this online the materials went back. Do yourself a favor and just order it. This is a wonderful idea for a person with dementia. My mom's hands stay so cold and this works like a cuddly muff. She likes the stuffed animal appearance and I notice she fiddles with the ribbons quite a bit. Unfortunately, she has advanced dementia so she is not able to remember that she has the activity pup. I think this would work really well if introduced early on after a dementia diagnosis. I debated getting it because of the high price but even with the limited use my mom gives it, it's well worth it. When it's given to her and her hands are placed inside the pup, she really likes it.

I wasn't really sure about this item when I saw it but a recreational therapist suggested it for my 97 year old grandmother, she suffers from severe dementia. I dont know how much it varies from a toddler toy and the price seemed high but I believe it was worth every penny. My grandmother has always worked with her hands and would nervously move her fingers. When i thought about she was still trying to do this but itcwas usually with food or a napkin which both made a mess so she was told no and the objects were taken away. But this was something she could fidget with and she loved it. When it was time to open other things she didnt want to put it down.

The size, texture and multiple touch features of this puppy gift are perfect for my 85 year old sister. She feels comforted and relaxed with it. If she feels stressed she grabs it and shoves both hands inside and squeezes the ball mounted inside. It also keeps her hands warm.

This wonderful Pup fidget toy has brought great happiness and comfort to my Alzheimer’s patient. She holds and cuddles it, fiddles with the ribbons, beads, pouch and ball hidden inside the muff. Often she talks to it and smiles. The Pup is much more cute than the pictures indicate. It has a sweet endearing smile and the head can be moved up and down such as to rest lovingly on one’s hand, or it can even be tucked into the muff as if sleeping. The ears also flap up and have a contrasting color inside. It has a nice little tail too. I’ve noticed my Alzheimer’s patient’s affection and appreciation for the Pup continues to grow, and I would recommend giving it a try for anyone suffering from dementia who fiddles a lot with their hands and may appreciate something friendly and soft to cuddle.

Loved the fact it has plenty of dangly bits to hold etc however the beads broke off completely in 30 minutes. I honestly thought an item at $92 would be a lot stronger than this. Very disappointed . I have sent a message to the seller to see what can be done about it Unfortunately I have now changed my review to One star as I haven’t heard back from the seller. It has now been over 3 days but no replies. All I want is an explanation and the invoice so I can claim off the NDIS. Bad after sales service

Je suis une adulte autiste asperger, ce twiddlecat m'aide à me recentrer. Il facilite l'ancrage et la concentration. La douceur de la peluche et la manipulation des balles a un effet très apaisant. Ne sentant pas où sont mes mains, je suis parfois maladroite. Depuis que j'ai ce twiddle, je remarque que je me suis améliorée en coordination et en precision au quotidien. J'ai commandé le même à ma grand mère de 99 ans (non alzheimer). C'est un bon produit thérapeutique uniquement pour les manipulations "douces". Ce ne sera pas adapté pour ceux qui auraient besoin de tirer fort les objets. Bien que la qualité soit excellente, ce n'est pas le but de la peluche, elle s'abîmerait

Die Katze wurde schnell geliefert, ist sehr weich und angenehm zu streicheln. Wenn man die Hände in den Muff steckt werden sie schnell warm und die geflochtene Kugel in der Mitte fühlt sich sehr interessant an. Auch die anderen Applikationen laden zum Befühlen ein. Habe ich für meine an Demenz erkrankte Mutter erstanden, sie hatte früher eine echte Katze und ich hoffe, dass sie es gut annimmt, da ihre Hände stets in Bewegung sind.
