Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro Studio Headphones - Over-Ear, Closed-Back, Professional Design for Recording and Monitoring (80 Ohm, Grey)

I’ve been using the beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro 250 Ohm Limited Edition for a while now, mainly for sound design projects on my computer, and honestly they sound amazing. I’m not a professional musician or audio engineer but the clarity and detail these headphones give me are next level. Every little sound, layer, and texture comes through so clean that it actually made me notice things in my own mixes I’d never caught before. I plugged them straight into my PC without an amp or interface and they still sound great, full, rich, and balanced, with no distortion or weird tones even at higher volume. The bass is punchy but not overdone, the mids are super clear, and the highs are crisp without being sharp. They also block out background noise really well so you can focus completely on what you’re creating or listening to. The build feels solid and premium, you can tell they’re made to last, and the soft velour pads are super comfortable even after hours of wearing them. They’re a bit heavier than your usual consumer headphones but that’s part of what makes them feel professional. If you’re into music production, editing, or just love great sound and want something reliable for years these are 100% worth it.

I just picked up the Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro 80 Ohm Limited Edition and I’m really impressed. The first thing I noticed was the comfort. The velour pads are super soft and I can wear them for hours without any pressure or heat. Sound-wise, they’re very clear with good bass that doesn’t muddy everything else. I’ve used them for music, and some mixing, and they perform great in all situations. They also feel solid and well-built, like they’ll last a long time. Noise isolation is surprisingly good even without ANC. Overall, they’ve exceeded my expectations and I’m really happy with the purchase.

Feels durable and of good quality. It is comfortable to wear for long periods of time and has an adjustable headband allowing it to fit most people comfortably. The sound quality is good as well. The only downside of this, is that the cable is fixed to the headphones so you must make sure that you treat it with care as not to damage the cable - but they do sell replacement parts for pretty much everything including the cable for those who have the capability to replace it themselves. Great value overall.

I bought this pair of headphones mainly for listening to music, but also a bit of gaming as well. I do not own an amp but my motherboard has ASUS' SupremeFX which ASUS claim can power headphones with an impedance of 32 ohms up to 600 ohms. The 80 ohm version of the DT 770 pro headphones was powered perfectly fine without an amp using SupremeFX and I got loud audio which I was happy with. Out of the box, the headphones did not have much bass, unlike what is said on some other reviews. However, after messing with the equaliser on the SupremeFX software, I was able to adjust the bass to how I like it. The build quality is very good and the metal frame feels very sturdy. The leather headband is comfortable and so are the velour ear pads. My only real complaint is that the headphones are very tight on my head. I'm sure that they will adjust over time, but for now, it is hard to wear them for over 30 minutes without feeling discomfort, which makes it hard to use them for gaming. One other complaint I would have is that for being a 'limited edition' pair of headphones, there is practically no difference between these and the non limited edition version, other than the way they look. If possible, I would recommend getting the normal version and not the limited edition one as it is not worth the extra cost. Overall, I am very happy with the product and I would highly recommend these headphones for anyone looking for a pair of closed back headphones that provide great sound and a good overall listening experience.

As would be expected from the brand, quality and performance are exceptional in these top-end headphones. Equally impressive however are the everyday features and attention to detail that are so often ignored in other phones, like the large round ear cups that totally cover the ears and clamp onto the head, with none of the discomfort (even pain!) caused by small cups that clamp onto the ears themselves. Headphones that completely cover the ears are essential in my view, minimising external sound interference, unwanted noise and sound distortion. One minor feature that I am particularly pleased about is the relatively tight headband adjustment - once set, it stays in its chosen position with little or no chance of being inadvertently knocked out of kilter. The phones have a nice long lead, too. Small details, but it all adds to the "quality of life"! All in all, an extremely well-built item that is lightweight and very robust.

Hallo, also das obligatorische "ich schreibe nicht so viele Rezessionen" lasse ab jetzt weg, denn es werden immer mehr. Ich achte selbst auch viel darauf, also möchte ich auch meinen Teil dazu beitragen. Nun aber zum Produkt selbst. Wonach ich gesucht habe: Ich habe nach einem Overear Kopfhörer gesucht welchen ich für zu Hause für den "höchsten Genuss" an Klangqualität verwenden kann. Natürlich geht noch viel mehr, aber für meinen Geschmack passt die Preisklasse. Gute Verarbeitung und schön anzusehen soll er auch sein, denn man wohnt ja nicht alleine und wird daher auch von anderen "gesehen". Verarbeitungsqualität: Die Ohrschalen sind auch seinem Hartkunststoff mit rauer Oberfläche gefertigt. Sie sind sehr steif und erinnern mich ehrlich gesagt an sehr hochwertigen technischen Werkstoff. (Kunststoff ist nicht gleich Plastik ;) ). Das Kabel ist so verarbeitet, dass man auch mal mit einem Sessel drüber rollen könnte ohne das es Schaden daran nimmt. Bitte trotzdem nicht machen! Bei so etwas bekomme ich immer Schmerzen, wenn ich das sehe. Der Stecker ist mit 3,5mm Klinke ausgeführt und hat ein Gewinde um einen 6,3 mm Adapter aufzuschrauben. Beide vergoldet. Das Kopfband ist aus schwarzem Kunstleder ordentlich gefertigt. Die Ausführung mit Druckknöpfen finde ich sehr gut, da man wirklich sehr leicht alle Teile wechseln kann. Das Kopfband bedeckt das Metallgerüst sowie das Kabel welches die linke und rechte Seite verbindet. Die Ohrpolster sind angenehm flauschig. Und ich nehme an waschbar. Sollten sie es nicht sein oder defekt sein, kann man auch diese sehr leicht tauschen. Nun aber zum Wichtigsten, dem Klang: ich empfinde die Kopfhörer als sehr ausgewogen. Was soviel bedeutet wie, vom wirklichen Tieftonbereich bis hin zu den Höhen wirklich sehr präsent und ein einheitlicher "Klangteppich". Kein Frequenzband tritt hervor, keines kommt zu kurz. Jeden Ton empfinde ich als sehr "differenziert" vom anderen. Gut hörbar bei Stimmen, bzw wenn 2 Töne gleichzeitig abgespielt werden und man diese genau erkennt (die Seiten einer Gittarre zb.) Nun zu den "Nachteilen": Ich habe bewusst die 80 Ohm Variante gewählt, damit der Klang präzise bleibt, und es div. Geräte noch anspielen können. Naja dachte ich: Mit dem Smartphone (OP5T) macht das keinen Spaß, es ist mir schlicht zu leise. Und bin ich auf 100% klingt es grauenvoll (zu wenig Leistung, und fast schon inakzeptabler DA Wandler). Am Notebook (Lenovo TPX1Tablet 3.gen) ist es besser mit der Lautstärke, aber auch hier bei 100% ist die Verzerrung störend für mich. Also ein DAC dazwischen mit Kopfhörer Verstärker und siehe da... die Lautstärke ist gefühlt um 20% mehr. Aber das entscheidende: Ich brauche die höheren Pegel nicht mehr, da die einzelnen Töne viel Klarer und präziser wiedergegeben werden. Es macht mir wirklich wirklich viel Spaß Musik für mich nun zu entdecken. Egal ob Jazz, Pop, Rap, Elektronik... es ist einfach alles toll anzuhören, da es unglaublich viel zu entdecken gibt. Was ich damit sagen möchte ist folgender Nachteil: Begibt man sich in diese „Qualitätsniveaus“ wird es mit der Wiedergabe komplizierter. Man merkt den Unterschied sehr schnell beim DA Wandler, und vor Allem beim Wiedergabemedium. Ein MP3 kann ich mir fast nicht mehr anhören. Von Youtube möchte ich gar nicht sprechen. UND es kommt vor, das die Titel, welche man bis dato gerne gehört hat, nicht mehr erträglich sind weil sie fürchterlich abgemischt sind. mein Fazit: Es bedarf schon einer Portion Power um sie anzutreiben. Aber Musik hören bekommt so für mich im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes eine neue Bedeutung. Ich höre Musik nicht mehr "weil mir des Liedl taugt" sondern weil es unheimlich viel zu entdecken gibt. Ja, es mag wesentlich teurere Kopfhörer geben welche besser klingen (Balanced wäre zb so eine nächste Stufe), aber für den Einstieg ins audiophile Niveau empfinde ich sie als absolut perfekt!
