This cord is great in that it allows me to use my old, obsolete iPod in my care. Most of my self-loaded music was lost in a computer crash. This old device had everything that was lost on it.

If I could give this negative stars I would. This item does not work at all! I had a connector like this (from a different company) with a (lightening connector) for my iphone 13 that worked fabulously. This item is made incredibly cheap - looks like it is going to split apart when put on the connector and will not charge ANYTHING. I have never had to write a review like this, but don’t throw your money away.

Arrived as expected and in good working order

Garbage. Plugged in to Bose speaker other end to ipod touch. Not recognized to charge or to play. Waste of $$

Exactly what I was looking for

I originally bought this to listen from my phone. Nope, I will use it to listen from my iPod.

This was a completely useless product for me. When inserting the female 30-pin jack onto the male end on my B&W Zeppelin speaker, the case on the product split, apparently not being designed nor constructed to the proper dimensions. It never did transfer any audio signal. Too cheap to be worth driving across town to the UPS store to return it to Amazon.

Not sure if it was the plug I was using or if this thing just doesn't work in general, but I couldn't get this to work. Ease of use is pretty simple, you just plug it in and go. But my phone didn't even recognize this plug when inserted into a speaker using the adapter 30 pin connection. It's possible that my phone is just too new and this speaker wasn't compatible, but I would have thought otherwise. Oh well, I'm only out a few bucks. I will say the build quality feels pretty cheap too. This isn't apple, it's pretty cheap plastic, even for plastic. But if it works for some that's great! Just didn't work for me.

Cheap, clunky fit and no device recognises it - expensive waste of money and little time to return it; will be complaining to Amazon as I very much doubt this is certified by Apple looking at the quality of it and packaging!
