Another Evan Moor book for the win!
New to homeschooling after teaching public school for 7 years and about fell over seeing how expensive some other curriculum was. Stumbled on Evan Moor and so far I love all the workbooks I've gotten. I enjoy how short and to the point this is, it has my 6 year old working with the words in several different ways and it only takes him 10 minutes (we do 1 page each day). I love the color, setup and simplicity of this workbook and obviously that it's affordable!

Great for homeschoolers
I really like these workbooks for my girls. I homeschool all 5 of my girls from 1st grade to middle school. I wish these were a little longer and spent less time on each grouping of words (I have fast paced kids), but other than that they are wonderful. We use other spelling curriculum on top of these. Now if they'd go up farther in grades.

My soon to be 1st grader told me she was scared to start 1st grade because of spelling tests, so I found this. She has done this workbook for the last month of summer and has aced each week's vocab test! Her confidence is high and she enjoys the daily worksheets and feels ready for 1st grade!

I love the spell and write books from Evan Moore. My sons spelling was awful and his teacher was too so I supplemented at home. At the end of the year I had another teacher comment on how good of a speller he is. Now I use these for all my kids in School.

Parents and caregivers can use this booklet to support the learning and spelling of sight words that are so difficult to spell using phonemic awareness. We still need those words and this is a great time to do this when the list is not as long as it would be three years later.
