MagGrip 2 by MagMod, Magnetic Light Diffuser Attachment, Universal Silicone Speedlite Mount, Modular Camera Lighting System, Photography Light Diffuser

I've now purchased a couple MagMod products including two of these, one for a round head flash and another for a fresnel head. It's tight, but it slips onto a fresnel head fairly easily. If you're buying this to use with a round head flash, like the Godox V1, it will fit, but it is HARD to get on. Frankly, I'm pretty strong, but it took a good bit of effort (and a YouTube tutorial) to get on. With that said, there is 0.0% chance it's slipping on, so it's definitely secure. The magnets are also very strong! Outside of violently shaking your flash, the modifiers you're using are safe and will not fall off. I do think MagMod's products are a little overpriced, but there's a reason many professionals swear by the brand. It's a great product and system.

This grip will allow you to use other Magmod modifiers on your flash. It is kind of expensive, not gonna lie there, but the truth is that is worth it. It makes swapping modifiers on the go a breeze. The magnets are super strong and you wont find yourself dropping them. It's made from a very durable material, feels nice to the touch. Just beware these are hard to put on. You might sweat and cuss a little bit trying to put in on your flash, so just make sure that the kids are asleep when you put it on.

MagGrip makes incredible products at a premium cost. Not sure if this item is worth the price but, it is sure built well and holds the other MagGrip accessories without any conbcern for failure. I own the full line of MagGrip items and they do not skimp on quality - that being said, they take their fair share of profit too.

This great for quickly adding on magmod attachments. The only con is that it is difficult to put on at least initially. IMy recommendation is to stretch it out really well and it’s much easier to add on. It’s also really secure, no danger of it falling off.

I’m a HUGE fan of this entire line. I owned a single complete set (grip, modifier and diffuser) and am thrilled with the images. I was even able to re-employ my older flash units by upgrading them with these accessories. They now have the same impact as my new more expensive TTL. I purchased more of the accessories so that I can quickly change units while shooting events like weddings when every second counts.

I have been humiliated so many times capturing weddings with flash modifiers falling off everywhere I turn. This magnetic silicone attachment actually holds all of my magnetic attachments in place. I have to use force to pull them apart. The fact that it stretches and fits my round speed lights and my rectangle AD200 flashes makes it completely universal. The attachments that Mag Mod makes for this all seem to be a cut above the rest! The bounce attachment is a true white so it does not affect my white balance at all. If anything it makes it a little better. The magnetic gels are so much fun to work with. Rather it’s adding color or correcting color they serve their purpose well! I feel like this little silicone attachment finally makes me feel like I’ve found my answer. I can’t begin to tell you how much money I wasted searching for these. Bottom line, every photographer should own this! Highly recommend! No I was not reimbursed for this at all. MagMod has no idea who I even am.

A necessary part of the Mag Mod setup. A little effort to put on my flash but it held well and had no worries.

I have 2 of them, for 2 godox v1 flashes. I was able to put one grip on, but the last grip I just bought broke on the side when I was trying to pull it on the flash. I guess it was caused by too much tension. The quality of the grip is fine, it’s the design problem. It would be better if the diameter was at least a few millimeters bigger. Actually, my boyfriend was helping me to stretch it to fit v1 flash, I didn’t have enough strength to put this grip on myself. Otherwise I love the system, I wish the grip was a little bit wider, it would still fit very tight, but it wouldn’t break.

Just put on it on the top of Godox V1 pro！ It’s can use!

Sin duda los productos de MagMod me parece algo costosos, pero bajo ciertas circunstancias son muy útiles, aunque creo que no es un producto para todos, depende muchísimo de su uso y circunstancias del mismo. Buen producto y buenos materiales, pareciera que durará bastante y eso es excelente.

Conosco molto bene il sistema MagMod per diffondere la luce lampo dei flash a slitta. Secondo me è il modo migliore per usare i flash, soprattutto nel ritratto, anche quello ambientato. Questo acquisto è stato fatto come regalo per i miei fratelli.

Integral attachment for the MagMod system. Tight fit on my Godox 860 speed light and Ad200 Pro pocket flash. Bought (2) so I didn’t have to keep moving it from one flash to the other.
