Wonderful Bible! My son is learning so much and so am I by reading it with him!! My apologies to the driver. I reported it thrown by the culvert but the picture shows it was placed on back of my mom’s car so when she left to town it must have slid off by the ditch! Our bad!! This Bible was still packed nice and in excellent shape! It is packed with explanatory information on teens level and even great for adults and especially anyone wanting to understand their Bible better!! More than Whataburger thought it would. I highly recommend. I’m surprised a Bible like this isn’t demote expensive. Well worth getting!!

Good start for teens

I gave this to a teenage friend after skimming over it. It uses the NKJV translation solving a readability problem inherent with the King James that uses antiquated words and sentence structure. Please don't misunderstand. I like the KJV. It was my first Bible and is one of my Bibles I use. It is definitely NOT a Bible for new Christians or teenagers. A Bible is only effective when read. Why intimidate new Christians with a difficult book that is even difficult when written in plain English? The NKJV is not as easy to follow as the "thought 4 thought" translations like the NLT. But it is friendlier to the Holy Spirit. It works for me and is the Bible that goes to church with me. My friend found the NKJV readable so hope she learns to read it for understanding. The study part is designed to appeal to teenagers and is a helpful guide in receiving what God is telling us. Every new Christian should be given a study Bible, not just any old Bible. It is a complex book with many hidden messages. Would you give a mathematics book written in Hebrew, to a student and expect them to get a passing grade? I found the publisher (Thomas Nelson) is on friendlier terms with the Holy Spirit than most mainstream publishing houses. I believe in the Trinity and Jesus' promise that we receive the Holy Spirit as comforter and a source for God's power. It is with this power that Jesus won the lost. He promised that we could do the same. This is how God's desire to win the lost to Christ is best achieved. Although not as popular as the "Life Application" study Bible by Tyndale House, which is not Holy Spirit friendly, The Extreme Teen is a solid Bible. I recommend it, particularly for teens. It may be the best out there but I have only a few "studies" for comparison. Also it is out of print and may only be available used.

The bible is the first go-to for anything and everything. [ACTS 5:29] 'Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.' My child has been very passionate to learn the Truth about matters important to him at this time in his life, this bible, with support the Pastor, Brothers & Sisters in Jesus, Worship, Prayer, and attending services with me will give him everything he will need to build the unshakable Faith which only Christ's own will ever know and live and give their lives for, which is Eternal Life-Heaven.

5 rating: easy to read , good paragraphs and print , although too small for my age , still well spaced paragraphs and thick enough papers not to see through. good colors on the papers. For once , easy to understand English NKJV well spaced paragraphs unique to this edition other bibles with bigger letters, the paragraphs are too close to each others and the paper you could see through, extremely unpleasant to read hard cover , yet not heavy, much easier to hold than the standard flexible semi leather Great commentary, keeps it simple ideally I would have liked exactly same book but 30% larger, applies to others if older than 50 years of age. Finally I would like to thank my Pastor Joe Fosh for incentivising us to simply read the Bible

I love how it gives explanations, it gives chapter lessons, it is great for teenagers like me. I’m 17 and glad I have it. When getting closer to God it was important for me to understand him perfectly in his words!

Great Birthday gift.

I have accumulated several Bibles over the years but every time I tried to read it, it just didn’t seem to make sense to me. This Bible breaks things down and explains things in plain English.

Perfect bible for my girl

Every teen & young people must own this Bible. Very informative, inspiring to read the word of God and apply it in our life to walk with God in Christ Jesus.
