Great book
If you are serious about learning classical mechanics, this is your book. You only have to search for some of the full derivations.

International edition is good enough to be worth the lower price. Text itself is a bit dry but useful for learing.
This book was for a graduate level class I took last semester (Fall 2017). The international edition was sturdy enough to last the entire semester with the cover only slightly bent. I did not carry it back and forth to class much but the bends were likely from there. The international edition I got I ordered from the Amazon seller BestStore4Books. Considering it is far cheaper than the American edition, I would highly recommend purchasing the international edition. Also, if you Google the book you can likely find a PDF copy as a backup should something happen to the international edition. It is nice to have a physical copy, though, especially to do problems since they often require flipping through the book for information and formulas, and it is difficult to flip around in a book using a PDF copy. However, this international edition was sturdy enough to last the entire semester for me and it will likely be on my bookshelves well into the future, and considering it was much cheaper I would recommend it. Also, to add further protection to soft cover books, you can cover them with clear contact paper which gives added protection similar to the protection on many soft cover books one finds at libraries, so if you are particularly worried about damaging the book you can always add the contact paper. As far as the actual content in the book, I found the text to be rather dry but useful to learn from regardless. It also would be nice to have more problems in the book. Each chapter seemed to cover a lot of material and each of the topics typically seemed to have maybe only one or two problems. The course I took covered Lagrangian and Hamiltonian mechanics and also covered Poisson brackets and the Hamilton-Jacobi formulation. I found the book Introductory Classical Mechanics by David Morin to be useful and have many problems with detailed solutions for it. It was especially useful for the Lagrangian part of the course. I would recommend buying that book and/or getting a PDF copy of it to supplement this textbook.

I contacted the seller and they were extremely nice with my request
I really needed this book to arrive in less than a week since my classes had already started. I contacted the seller and they were extremely nice with my request. Although I was supposed to get the book in twenty days they shipped it and sent it in less than a week (3 days) which awed me. Regarding the item itself the cover is nice and good quality and the only trade off is the quality of the paper used; its too thin and the other side of the paper is slightly visible (not a big deal maybe but it makes reading a bit difficult for me).

Textbook creased, but for used this is great
The textbook content appears to be the correct content. There are creases and serif, but otherwise for a used textbook this is pretty good.

I think this book is great! The explanations are really clear
I think this book is great! The explanations are really clear. The Rigid Body sections in this book are very detailed! But as with any book, it is better to accompany with a different book to complement explanations (I use it along with Marion and Thornton's book).
