There are a choice of designs and I bought two different ones, they're washable as well as easy to put on and every futon should have at least one.

GET THESE NOW. I just got mine today and i am blown away by how soft and high quality they are! I’m going to buy a couple more sets we get can rotate the fun patterns. Highly recommend.

It’s a lovely cover for design, durability, and as a full cover for your futon. However, the zipper is on the short side, not the long side, of the cover which makes actually getting your futon into the cover difficult. As Japanese futons are recommended to be sunned as many as 1/week (if made of cotton), it’s a lot to take on and off weekly. With a twin size futon/cover and being 5ft 8in (173~ cm) I have to stand on a step stool in order to shuffle my futon into the cover. Overall, whether this is the cover for you is dependent on whether design or conviene is more important to you. The cover does its job and does it well, but, personally, I will have to purchase a cover with a different zipper location/style as my step stool method isn’t viable for my physical limitations in the long term.
