Very cute surprises, my daughter loved it for Christmas present, she loves collecting miniature figures. She is also 10 years old

I believe these were fake. There were no tear strips, plus no collectors guide.

I've been a toy collector for almost 50 years, and I've never seen someone packing up this much pure garbage and trying to pass it along as a toy. I'd recently bought Zuru's Retro advent calendar and liked it, so when I found these balls for two bucks each at Ollies, I bought eight. I made sure each one was unopened, not tampered with, because I'd heard about that happening on Amazon. These must've been returns that Zuru repackaged and sent out to discount stores like Ollies. EVERY SINGLE ONE contained the same items: two sections with crappy tiny paper money, a section with an empty cardboard box of Trivial Pursuit, a section with an empty cardboard box of Clue (except it was the British version, Cluedo), and a section with a purple Eldritch-abomination My Little Pony stuck to a piece of cardboard that said "Play-Doh". One of the balls had a demented chicken from Hell on a "Play-Doh" card in place of the horrifically deformed purple pony, but other than that, they were all the same. Both of the cardboard box "games" were empty and were absolutely obliterated, crushed, smooshed, and were wrapped in buckling layers of Scotch tape. If the store doesn't take them back, since they're opened, I will certainly be contacting Zuru about this!
