I bought this back when my puppies were six weeks old when I started weaning them off of their mom. I started the weaning process at 4 weeks with milk replacer and dry food mixed to a gruel but my puppies started getting really bad diarrhea for a few days & 3 pups only wanted to nurse from mom which made the diarrhea worse because they didn’t want to eat their dry food gruel. As a result those 3 puppies lost a lot of weight from diarrhea and choosing mom instead of their new food. Two of them were fine but the runt and the 2 that were underweight were worrying me so I bought this and started giving the underweight ones some of this with a Syringe daily and feeding them separately from the other two. The runt was gaining weight slowly but he started getting a tummy and the other two skinny babies gained their normal weight back in about a week. I still feed them this in their food because they love it but not as often as before. After using this for about a week, all 5 of my puppies were fat and back to normal. I love that this product smells so good and my puppies love it. They smell the bottle and start licking. The picture of the puppy by herself is one of the puppies that was on this product and gained weight from it. She is now healthy and back to normal weight. Most of the people that buy this product use it for their adult underweight dogs and I wasn’t sure what the results were gonna be with my 6 week old puppies. But they are now almost 8 weeks and they’re back to normal so the results were amazing! I highly recommend this product to people that are weaning puppies that might be picky eaters or just want to continue nursing from mom. It encourages them to eat their food & if that doesn’t work try feeding them the adequate dose with a syringe, I did and it worked like a charm. Let me know if this review was helpful.

This stuff is great! I have a dog on Prozac and he lost weight on it so I bought a lot of weight gainer for him. He loves the taste of this and it seems to work. He hasn’t gained a lot of weight but… BUT he isn’t losing anymore weight so I will always use it for him.

Needed this for my dog when she needed a pymetra surgery which made her glucose drop. My dog is now on day 13 of recovery. This Dyne liquid supplement was easy to put in a syringe and allow her to lick and chase the drops. It is flavored vanilla and the rest of my dogs were fighting to try to get some licks in too! Did the job and help my dog get through a dangerous life threatening time. Definitely recommend for glucose or other needs!

This was recommended to me after my dog had a litter of 10 puppies. She is a very picky eater and sometimes does not like a lot of different flavors of treats that are high calorie to try to help her out with gaining some more weight. She loves the taste and can easily pour over her food. She also has a testy stomach, and this has not seemed to affect her at all with going to the bathroom, which is great!

I have a 16-year-old mini schnauzer that was quickly losing weight and muscle mass. I took her off hard food and put her on Purina Moist & Meaty. This was helpful when she lost a lot of her teeth- It was fine for a while until she got bored of it. She started losing weight again. She tried to jump off my bed without assistance, which really hurt her. She was struggling to walk at all, she would plop halfway on her bed and sleep. I was doing anything I could to try and help her. The only other options I could think of were to put her in a dog wheel chair, where she would lose the rest of her leg muscle, or find a way to up her caloric intake. We decided to switch her food again to wet food and add this “high calorie goop” to her food. There was an immediate turn around. I KNOW that this goop brought back some weight that helped increase her quality of life. She’s able to walk practically perfectly now and has successfully climbed the step to our porch almost multiple times every day for the past week or so. Her personality is back, she’s no longer sleeping all day, and I can rest assured that I don’t need to consider other options. If I could recommend ANY product for animals, this would be the one. It was worth the $20 for sure.

We bought this for our 14 year old chihuahua because she lost all her teeth and couldn't eat harder dog food anymore, and for whatever reason, she stopped liking canned dog food. We tried feeding her every other type of dog food available. We even tried making her homemade food. She refused it all. The only thing she would touch was finely chopped plain sandwich ham. Problem with that, is it doesn't have very much nutritional value for her, so she started to lose a ton of weight. You could see her bones at one point and it was sad to see. We felt like horrible dog parents but it's truly the only thing she would touch. I Googled a good supplement for dogs and this came up. We bought it immediately. It's taken 3 months of daily intake, but she is looking SO much better! She's put significant (yet healthy) weight back on! Best part is, she absolutely LOVES it! We've even given it to her on a spoon on its own and she loves it. But our typical routine is to pour it on top of her food and she wolfs it all down. We were afraid it might make her sick, but no, she's had zero negative side effects. It is a tad pricey, but it works, so we're sticking with it! I think in another month, we'll reduce her intake to maybe 2-3 times a week instead of daily because she's getting near her original weight. If you're in the same boat we were with dog weightloss, definitely try it!

My dog threw up every time I tried to give him this. I don’t know if it was related to the product or his illness, but we had to stop trying to give it to him. Didn’t give it long enough to see any results.

Had puppies that were fussy with their mush so used this to get them more interested. They loved it. I even tasted it myself because it smelled delicious & it's actually really good. Ended up buying several times. Recently one of the pups had a surgery & when her appetite was low we used this again so we could keep her eating & getting enough nutrition to heal. I worry about buying stuff like this in Amazon because you never know if you're actually getting what you think you are but this is a product & seller that I believe can be trusted.

I have one of the most pickiest eating dog ever you can offer her three bowls of different types of food and she'll still turn her nose up at it she's been underweight for a couple years now and I've tried everything. I found this so I thought I would give it a try, she absolutely loves it I mix it into her kibble and she will eat the kibble without hesitation she has started to put weight on I'm extremely impressed there's been no stomach issues or any other issues.
