Lovely to knit with, and great value for money
I have just started my project: a gansey for myself, and this yarn is really lovely to work with. It is durable and solid (it will not break when casting on), and super soft and nice at the touch when holding it to your chin’s skin, not scratchy at all, as I find some other yarns. The composition of 80% recycled cotton and 20% recycled polyester could not be better for the planet and to assuage my consumer guilt. I will be buying a lot more of this if they have a suitable colour range, so far I like the cream, dark grey and green, and I’ll check out the reds too. The value for money is really unbelievable. Only negative comment is that I followed the advice on the label which recommends using needles 5-6mm, and that was a brief disaster: the fabric was too loose and floppy and I did not like it, it appeared almost as lace. Instead, I used 3.75mm on rib and 4.5mm on the body of my sweater and that was a lot better. But I guess 4mm or 4.25mm for the body would probably have been even better. BEWARE, as that would definitely change the recommended tension. Since I am still knitting my project and I have not yet wet blocked it or washed it (the label recommends 30 degree wash), I really have no way of knowing how it will looks after several washes, but since it is already recycled, I hope it will stand well to being washed regularly.

Excellent quality
I have been using Re-Cotton for a couple of years now. Excellent to crochet with. Very heavy for blankets but super soft.

Knits as double knitting
This is really lovely yarn. However a test square came up as double knitting on 4mm needles and was loose. Wasn’t a problem. I just changed pattern to a dk which I was going to knit anyway. If you want a tighter knit I think you would have to go down to at least 3 1/2 and 2 3/4mm needles. Also it’s very silky and it’s easy to drop stitches or for them to slide off the needles. I had to swap from metal to plastic to bamboo and still stitches slid off. It’s so nice, such a good price and the fact it’s recycled is amazing! I’m persevering. I’ve also bought two more colours (gluten for punishment or what🤣) to knit the same pattern for myself.

On my third purchase!
I love this cotton! Has a silky quality and is less splitty than other cottons I've used. The finished garment has a weighty, quality feel to it which I like and is breathable. I loved the mandala vest I made with it (held this black cotton with a zauberball wool) so much that I just had to buy more and start a sweater. Its great to crochet. Being cotton, is has very little stretch from the ball but the finished stitches do have stretch. I can only speak on the black colourway and is in my opinion better than any of the other brands out there like 'vintage' for example. You just take off the band and go, so easy to use. Plus, it's recyled! I'm on my third 5 pack of the stuff and don't think I'll ever stop getting it! You really can make gorgeous, substantial pieces with it.

Wool okay, beware of colour variance
While the wool itself is nice, the two packs I ordered of pink at the same time have a variance in colour, which I only noticed when I opened the second pack up late into the project.

I am very satisfied wit the yarn, it is nice to work with ,soft and beautiful color. But I am not satisfiad with the decond oder of yarn because it is not the same color. I looked to see if there were more shades on offer bat I couldn' t find it, so it wasn't my fault in the order. I don'twant to return the order because I will use it, but it woould be okay if care was taken in the packaging or....

The cotton quality is stunning, ideal for my crocheting projects. I would recommend to use it when you do not need a very soft yard.

You definitely get what you paid for, there’s a reason this is the cheapest yarn on here. I’m just starting out my crotchet journey and the wool comes undone so quickly (as in the threads split). Would not recommend for someone inexperienced.

bonne qualité, mais en effet, comme dit dans les commentaires précédents, la laine se dédouble. A vraiment prendre en compte pour des points compliqués ou serrés. Pour ma part, au crochet, ça va. Couleur fidèle à la photo.
