I have found this grip to be a real improvement to using my iPencil 2, it is comfortable and makes for better writing on my iPad Mini 6….. I have biggish hands (about 10 inch span from tip of little finger to tip of thumb) and I find this grip is the best I have tried. My only criticism is that I couldn’t recharge the iPencil in my protective case…. The magnetic hold is very good with the case, it just won’t charge, so I had to cut out part of the edge of my case. (Using a razor blade) After doing that, see my pics, the grip allows the iPencil to charge. My separate iPencil case that I have on my iPad cover (I use this if I have the iPad in a bag etc) fits the iPencil with this grip attached. Overall, I am happy with this grip… I used a touch of talcum powder to make fitting and removal easier, however now I have adapted my iPad case I don’t need to remove it now….. PS. Making that cut out I decided to extend the length needed so I would also have easier access to my SIM card port….. so if anyone needs to do the same for the iPencil only, the cut out would not need to be so long as in my pics. Recommended for writing and taking notes etc….

It makes holding the perfectly smooth and slippery ipen actually possible. No more sliding out of my fingers and dropping on the screen.

Highly recommend, I am using it over a year now and can’t be more pleased.

Since it is a straight and smooth grip, I notice that my hand continuously slips toward the pencil tip while writing (unless I grip it forcefully which is tiring) I wish it has some king of roughness texture

My hand kept slipping down my pencil after a while of drawing. I tried a full sleeve, but didn't like it. This grip is really compfortale and goes on my pencil easily.

I have been on the hunt for the perfect Apple Pencil cover for 1) some more protection and 2) extra grip for writing (as I find the original feel uncomfortable after long hours of studying). I read countless reviews for sleeve cases stretching out, and grips not working with the magnets but these are perfect. The double tap feature still works (only needing to tap a little harder) and the pencil still connects. (PLEASE READ: I have an iPad case doesn’t cover the side bar, therefore if you have a case that goes all around, the magnet might not work!). When you’re getting 2 for this price, it’s amazing, grab them while you can!

I’ve been using the Apple Pencil since it first released. Literally, the first day my local Apple Store received them back in 2015 I picked mine up and I was there the day the 2nd gen came out with the iPad Pro refresh in 2018. I’ve been taking notes/drawing casually with it ever since but it never occurred to me to try something like this and it makes a big difference! First off, the grips feels very nice. They don’t feel sticky or too hard or soft. They provide just the right amount of extra support to make using the pencil noticeably more comfortable. In addition, it connects just fine to my iPad Pro. Haven’t had issues with the magnets being interferes with because of the grip. It also provides enough space at the tip to use an external tip cover if you like! I just got one to provide more traction for my Pencil and it looks pretty seamless and the grip doesn’t impede on the tip attachment at all.

This item makes the iPad pencil feel & function like a real pencil. It make using the pencil so much easier.
