Good power supply
Works as intended. Came with a bunch of modular parts which is nice. Fits well in my case and has served me for over 2 years with no issues

Seems As Described
The HX1200 comes with listed cables and ports. Also has a really stylish drawstring bag for the PSU and a Velcro pack for the cords, which are bundled with plastic coated twist ties. Cables (except SATA) have an interesting braiding. Includes a handful of black cable ties for cable management and a Corsair sticker. Says it comes with a 10 year warranty, so I anticipate it should last a very long - that would make this the most worthwhile PSU purchase you can make for never needing to get one for a long time. This PSU is overkill for just about any consumer grade system - you can push the most power hungry overclocked CPUs and graphics cards in SLI/Crossfire, never have to worry, and still get fantastic power efficiency with almost silent operation (dB output is based on load, so lower load means lower noise, but full load is only ~20-25db). That being said, the RM1000x could boast similarly, but it would be an awful shame if your system draw was slightly over 1000W and you had worry about hardware failure. I bought this on sale, so it was only $40 for better power efficiency, more silent operation, and an additional 200W cap. Otherwise Link compatibility or perhaps regular pricing would make it less worth the jump. I can't know if it'll perform to specification and can't currently measure it's actual output. I can only hope that this thing will be more than enough for whatever I decide to throw at it for a couple handfuls of years. Only weird thing I noticed is that the CPU/PIC-e 4x4 cord has an inflexible tape-like extension on one end, which makes sure you connect the secure clip to the CPU power header, but this matched with its standard length makes it such that you can't have very creative cable management, at least with my ATX motherboard with a Corsair 750D case, where I was only able to route the cable one way due to length and flexibility. Did not end up being a "problem" though.

Works Well so Far.
It's been working well for the past month or so since I bought it and under heavy load without turning it off at all. I had some problems turning it on at first but it turned out that one of the HDDs was not getting along with it for some reason even though I just replaced this one with the other one I had before without changing anything else. It was turning on and after few seconds it would shut down on its own. The HDD that was causing the problem was not the main one it was just an extra one. It took me some time figuring what was causing the issue but all is well now and after replacing the sata cable of the HDD causing the problem it worked out fine. Looks like the cable went bad or something when I put this new PSU in.

Great quality
Great power supply. This is the second Corsair power supply I’ve bought in the last decade (my other one is still running strong in my back up pc). I’ve had zero issues from either one. Would absolutely recommend

Totally worth the price.
This power supply is a brick, it's powering a 3900x 6900xt on the 4th biggest case on planet Earth the Tower 900. I have approximately 12 RGB fans (and I am about to add 6 more) with RGB bars, RGB memory, and RGB power cables. This thing's fan does not even come one unless I am cranking both the CPU and GPU. I keep seeing the one stars are from people that replace them with EVGA's. They never mention what they are powering with them. A bit suspicious if you ask me. I wonder if EVGA is paying them. Nothing wrong with EVGA mind you I have had GPU's from them, and they are great, just wondering.

Supports the ever-growing gaming addiction and 4090
I've had it since Dec 2022 and it hasn't shown any issues whatsoever. In it for the long haul! I'm using this in a pretty beefy setup with my 4090 FE, plenty of lights, fans, etc, and it functions exactly as intended. The whole product feels extremely high quality, the cables aren't that cheap rubbery material but the nice threads. There were plenty of extra cables I never ended up using, but the packaging is quality and the extra cables came with a bag just in case I ever decide to use one.

Love the power supply; loathe the cabling
Be ready to purchase extension cables for the CPU and motherboard connections, unless you have a top mounted PSU, don't care about cables in front of the motherboard, or have case smaller than standard ATX. The in-line capacitors are completely in the way and they didn't increase the cable length from the older generation cables. To safely bend the cables to route behind the motherboard takes a large portion of the total length; making it impossible to reach the PSU. Even when routing the CPU cables in front of the motherboard and removing the shroud, they barely reach and have to be tied back with straps so they don't rest on critical components. If you don't vertically mount your GPU, you'll have a similar problem as the case cover will force you to put extra tension on the cable so the cover can be closed. I suspect this will be even more of a problem once I need to use the new 12V connection on a modern card, as they are more dangerous if bent at the socket. Also, the detached 2 pin portion of the PCIe cable won't stay seated in the card unless you make the initial bend toward the the 2 pin side. Corsair sells thinner, single wrapped, replacement cables for another $100, but they are just as short. It's ridiculous that at this price point the out of the box experience is substandard. This could have easily been fixed by adding a few more inches of cable and possibly throwing in some 90/180 degree connectors to shorten the distance required to safely route cables. It wouldn't increase the substantially and the user experience would be so much better. I can't understand how this design has been in production for so long and this hasn't been addressed yet.

This is a great unit, I upgraded from 850w corsair to this for my Zotac 4090 amp. I also got some cablemod cables. Quiet under load, tons of cables if you need them, little bit longer then my old psu, but nothing major. Fan never spins under load which is fantastic.

The supply it’s self works well, but it doesn’t include a 12v adaptor for the graphics card, I had to spend money to get one. I think this is a bit of a dirty, greedy move by Corsair, I would therefore recommend going with another supplier, that includes the 12v cable for 40 series graphics cards.
