With these supplements, I can eat cross-contaminated foods without any sickness now. I am severely intolerant to wheat, eggs, and dairy. Digest Spectrum has made my life simpler, because if I’m put in a situation where I don’t have many options but really need food, these help prevent me from getting nearly as sick as I normally would. This also means I can finally stop bringing an arsenal of emergency snacks with me everywhere. I take one to two with a meal if I didn’t prepare it and can’t be sure about cross-contamination. If I know for a fact that a meal contains one of my intolerances and I have no other options available, I take three or four and my stomach pain later isn’t nearly as severe. Be wary of purchasing from Amazon. My last bottle from NetRush, who is a primary distributor, looked suspicious compared to the bottles I’d purchased before. There was no expiration date or lot number on the label like there usually is, and certain parts of the label were pixilated. I purchased a bottle directly from Enzymedica to compare it to, and also contacted Enzymedica about the discrepancies between the two bottles. They said to not use any bottles that do not come with a lot number and expiration date printed on the side of the label near the list of supplement facts. I will include photos to help anyone else who is unsure whether or not they received a legitimate bottle.

These are standard '00' capsule size so they work well for me. Many times I will use only 2 for my less problematic allergens, such as dairy, and they seem to still do the job. For my gluten sensitivity- I find I definitely need the full dose. This is the only brand I use for the full digestive enzymes. The capsules are clear and completely sheer so you can clearly see the powder contents of each capsule. I think for the discomfort this saves me from, it's a definite great value for the money. To clarify, I have not been dx'd as having Celiac Disease, so I don't know if this is sufficient for a true Celiac patient. I do know my son's girlfriend has a VERY severe case of Celiacs Disease and being unwilling to give up gluten altogether she does at least acknowledge if she uses these it definitely decreases the extreme amount of pain she typically endures when she consumes gluten products.

I'm glad I started taking this, because my doctor told me to stop eating dairy and gluten, so this helps me with digestion. FYI, once you turn 40, you should ask your doctor if you need enzymes.

I am trying to eat lower carb and I have such a problem with dairy and gluten anyway; eating higher fat almost necessitates dairy and I need help processing the fat as well. So far so good; I am taking 2 of these with each of my 2 meals a day and I am able to function. Normally, I would not be able to eat the way I am eating without repercussions. I think these are really helping me. Do I wish they were cheaper?? Hell, yes! They are worth it to me, in my opinion and I may add the keto formula and take one of each with each meal? We shall see. I would not call it miraculous but I am very keen on this product!!

I use this product since it does work for my tummy. It is good to have handy when eating food that can cause issues.

I used this product for almost 5 years, I was diagnose with lactose and gluten intolerance, and I also have some challenges with some other types of food but since I'm taking this product my problems are gone, of course you have to help yourself by eating the right diet at home, but that is not always possible. There is always the chance to find lactose, casein or gluten in almost everything especially process food and even when you buy one ingredient item, there is always the cross contamination problem (for instance, pecans or prunes that where process in a plant that also process food that has milk or gluten). This product not only give me the peace of mind to eat safely but also gave me the opportunity to be able to eat at restaurants without being worry of getting blotted all the time. It became my lifesaver. I can normally eat all my meals without hesitation, but like a good girl I try to avoid as much as possible the foods that create the problems, the reason is to avoid inflammation in your body. Enzymedica products are perfect for people that is vegan or for people like me that try to avoid as much as I can prescription or over the counter medication that most of the time use lactose or gluten as binding elements.

I have had good experiences with this product. It has been very beneficial when eating out. This product gives me confidence that it is safe to eat out. Along with advising the waitress/waiter that I have allergies in an attempt to minimize cross contamination. I do have a Medical Doctor’s note that state I am gluten allergic and lactose intolerant.

It appears to help my post-meal bloating and IBS. Additionally, it appears to help me with some of the FODMAP-friendly vegetables and fruits.

Really helps. Makes a big difference and I feel at peace going out to eat and not having to worry how my body is going to handle whatever. It does make you gassy sometimes, but not always, so well worth it.

I’m casein and wheat intolerant (not just the protein, the whole wheat stalk), so I used this with sourdough bread and seriously aged cheese (meaning both issues already partially broken by virtue of their production processes), and I still feel like someone doped me. It’s supposed to PREVENT that. Not impressed. (Yes, I was tested by a lab, not some charlatan.)
