The Republic of Tea - Blackberry Sage Black Tea | 50 Tea Bags, Gourmet Black Tea

It's a good tea. It's fruity and earthy without being pungent. It isn't bitter or tannin-y or anything like that. The smell is also quite lovely, and the tea itself is quite smooth. My previous friend had put me onto this tea brand, as the quality is quite good, and she herself is a huge fan of this tea. All of that being said, I'm not a huge fan of the flavor profile. It's good, but it's just not my favorite (I'm learning I don't care for fruity teas, I guess). You get a lot of tea bags for the price, so the value is great, and it could be a great gift if you have a tea lover in your life who likes fruity teas.

Very good taste

I've been drinking this tea for a few years now as part of a healthier lifestyle. Great aromatics and taste. I often blend with other teas to create a healthy, unsweetened, option to replace sweetened tea. Caffeine free so I retain less water too. Wonderful for an active lifestyle. Try blending with their Blueberry option.

Smells good tastes great a little expensive

I’m a fan of black teas with one or two flavors, usually natural fruit and/or spice, and this does not disappoint. It’s not an in-your-face bold flavor, but rather more gentle, tea forward taste and a subtle blackberry and sage background. It makes it a great tea for me to drink with a meal, but it’s still nice to drink on its own. It’s pretty flexible, and everyone that I’ve served it to has also liked it a lot. It’s in my regular rotation as a smooth, easy to drink tea. I trust the brand for having decent quality tea leaves that’s fresh and well flavored with fruits, herbs, and spices.
