I got 4 of these to place in a 6 x 6 foot grow tent. I adjusted the light intensity by moving the lights away from the plants rather than using the dimmer. You can feel the intensity of the light that they put out with your hand - do not put your plants too close, unless you want the plants to receive the equivalent of full sun. I put my orchids 2 feet below the lights, which is good light for these plants. Start far and move the lights closer. Yes, these are high intensity lights and they of course put out a little heat. But, not too much. If you think a little before using these strong lights, you will figure out optimum conditions. Good light at a good price - I recommend - not issues at all.

I got this for my beardie's bioactive tank and it's perfect! Not too big but packs SO much light into a small package. Completly silent. Dimming works great. It gets VERY hot, make sure you keep it away from animals that could get to it and don't touch it if it's been on recently. The wires to hang it are kind of annoying because I'm not using it for that purpose, I'm sure I could remove them but I don't want to damage anything. I've had it for a while now and it's still working great. Highly highly recommend.

I like this light a lot, it is bright, quite, grows plants well, and doesn't generate much heat. I have been using it for 12-14 hours a day for most of a year, it is lighting a 3 foot by 2 foot area of shelving with about 20 house plants and keeps them healthy without leggy growth.

I’ve been using this Sansi light for my carnivorous plant endeavors. After about 4 months of used I am extremely satisfied with the results. As others have said, the dimming feature is not linear. Pretty much anything above 50% behaves like 100% in terms of brightness. I don’t know if power draw changes, someone else might have those answers. I run the light 15 hours a day and the first thing to notice is the heat. The passive cooling works but one thing I know is heat kills electronics (LEDs). I 3D printed a fixture that houses a small USB powered fan, I use the heat from the light and the air flow to help the garage ridden garden. My light stays cool and the plants are happy. I have no negative comments for the light. I say it’s the one I should have started with, especially for carnivorous plants.

I was previously using 3 36watt sansi grow lights, so I already knew the LED’s they use produce great results. The small size easily fools, it’s a great light and the price is competitive. I’ve got two running right now, at 4.5 feet away on the edge of their light cast I get 10k lux. The build quality is next level, you feel like you get your moneys worth with this fixture.

These are amazing for the price. They're very bright, and I love that they're adjustable. The reason that I only have four stars instead of five is because the brightness dimming level is not linear. I wish it was a little better, but for the price I paid when they were on sale, I've bought five of them. I think they're really great for the price. They're smaller than I thought they would be, but they put out a lot of light.

I bought this before I had the chance to really invest a lot of time into research. This thing is indeed very bright but also deceptively tiny. Like this brand, many of the established brands are very proud of their product lines and make customers pay a premium for products and outcomes that can be achieved with far less financial investment. This light does the job, I would consider it to be effective at covering perhaps a 2.5ft by 2.5ft area reasonably. Optimistically, this is about enough space to grow 4 or 5 bushy plants. Peppers in my case. At the price point, I don't think the value is stellar but overall, seems to be a durable product. I will write more once this item is battle tested.

This light works great for my cacti. I ended up buying a second and they can be connected. Dimmer switch is questionable but unnecessary in my application

Fried my venus flytraps tho, but good for other plants.

Been using it for more than a year. Only drawback is it does not have a timer. Otherwise, it works warrant a higher review

I was expecting a light fixture that was maybe 60 cm long but these are quite small, they seem to be quite powerful though... time will tell. I will try to give more feedback in the spring...

My electrician refused to instal these LED lights because they are not CSA approved and I am returning them for credit.
