I bought these for a two-week trip to Vegas, knowing I’d be on my feet all day on the Strip, in casinos, and doing a lot of walking and hiking. I got the 10.5 extra wide, and the fit is perfect. I’m diabetic and my feet swell up sometimes, so the wider toe box is a huge plus. Most sneakers are just too narrow for me, but these were completely comfortable the entire trip and I've been wearing them ever since. I would 100% recommend these sneakers to anyone, especially anyone with feet issues. So, If you're on the fence or don't know what to get, you definitely won't go wrong with these. They look good, they feel good, and I would absolutely purchase them again.

I originally wasn't sure about these and started a return, but after wearing them around the house I changed my mind. Then began walking and hiking with them and glad I decided to keep them. They're actually very comfortable. I had always worn 10 Wide or Extra wide in other shoes and originally ordered these in 10 wide and they turned out to be too small and too wide. So I did what I should have done before ordering any shoe--I measured my foot on a Brannock device and found that I was actually a 10.5 D. So that's what I ordered and they actually fit and feel great. Great tread for stability and hiking. And I love the straps. I know that many people feel they can't get the shoe tight enough with straps, but I never had that problem--they are as tight at the end of the day as they were when I fastened them when I first put them on. And laces always came untied, even if double tied--a royal pain, especially if in the woods. The Skechers are not classified as an orthopedic shoe, so the insole is not removable. It is memory foam which feels great. Others have claimed it loses it's cushioning after time, but I figure I can just pop in a cheap pair of insoles and I'll be back in business. I highly recommend these shoes. If you prefer laces, the lace versions fit the same. UPDATE 1/19/2018: These shoes still feel great. Wear them every day. Memory foam still feels great. My instep is low and therefore my straps end up being too long when pulled to their appropriate tightness. This has resulted is very little of the hool & loop coming in contact. I have had to add hook material to the inside of the strap and extend loop material on the shoe. I used Goop (E6000--all their products are the same), which is an excellent glue in the rubber contact adhesive category. It can be messy though-- if you use it, don't over apply--just a thin coat on each surface and let dry before pressing in place. Alternately you could probably use epoxy or Duco cement--maybe even superglue. It would be too difficult to sew it on. Once set, it works great and they stay nice and tight.

Comfortable shoes, looks are very good. But for a size 13, my big toe touches the end ... no like my old size 12s

These shoes are great,but there is a caveat. They have to be broken in before they feel comfortable. I made the mistake of wearing them when I went on a 2 week vacation. The first few days were miserable. My ankles felt bruised. But once they broke in, they are super comfortable. It took about 2 days for me. Your results may vary.

Will I say fantastic? Or outstanding? Or where have these been all my life? No. But what I will say is that as I work in a manufacturing plant on my feet all day long as a 60yr old man and I will be buying these shoes until they change them so they don’t fit and function like they do today. (Which in my experience is a certain eventually). It’s like they sit around and say these are a great product so let’s make them better, not for our loyal customers but for us. Maybe we can manufacture differently or choose different, less expensive, materials but anything that will improve… the customers satisfaction, or comfort, or cost… NO!!! Sorry, just a little rant. I am very particular (picky) about my footwear and have been since I was a young man and working every day. Working in a shop on walking/standing all day or roofing -walking on ladders and slanted roofs- etc. I learned early that my feet were important. I pair all of my footwear with Dr. Scholl’s Custom Fit Orthotics 3/4 Length Inserts CF 340. I am also giving here in this review a 5 star rating for these. Since I started using Dr. Scholl’s and then in combination with these Skechers I work all day almost pain free everyday. Highly recommend. I have wide feet and the x-wide are a perfect fit. However, when I first wore these I didn’t think they would work because they were tight. And, I don’t know why but I have to loosen the straps, totally loosen the straps every day and walk from the bedroom to the kitchen or whatever just for a few minutes, because they seem tight when I first put them on. But loosening them first fixes it and they are good to go, and off to work I go. Rambling on as I do let me… SUMMARY. Good shoe. Arrived with the brown outer package ripped open and taped back shut with clear shipping tape. Inside, the shoe box was ripped open (end flaps completely ripped off) at the end near where the outer package was ripped. Entire package and box were smashed. Haven't worn the shoes out yet, but looks okay. Skechers are good, not great, shoes. I've had 5-6 over the last dozen years. After a few years, the sole comes unglued. My last pair came unglued when new, after just one time walking on a hot sandy beach. With added arch supports they feel good to me. A bit on the soft side, which I like. These were a great deal on sale for half price. Is that why the box was damaged?
