Healthy and growing well!
Fresh bay leaves have so much more oil in them and make a big difference in cooking. Bay laurel is a slow growing plant, so it can be kept in a pot forever. Does not like the cold. Am overwintering it indoors in front of southern window and grow light set for 18 hours a day. It is thriving!!!

The Bay Laurel came very perfect and healthy. I am very impressed on the way it was packed. Hardly any dirt fell out because the used masking tape to hold the dirt in the pot. Great idea!

Looked nothing like the picture
This product came in a box about half the size of an egg carton. The root ball, wrapped in a dinky plastic bag, would have fit into a shot glass. It was, generously, 6 inches tall, six mature leaves that browned within a day in partial shade and four boarder line "new" leaves in a group on the top. I spent 3x as much elsewhere and got a 3 foot tall, multi-branched bush. Spend the extra money on a real plant website and get something useful.

It's alive, and in fine condition.
It arrived about 15 minutes ago. Early by days. No apparent infections. Not frozen in transit, which was a concern with the weather change. Lots of evidence of new growth coming. It is definitely ready for a new pot to live in. Beautiful. It will make a fine replacement and gift for my mother, who accidentally killed hers after many years.

Bay leaf tree
Thought it wasn't going to grow but just needed a little time to root nicely. This spring new leaves started to sprout.
