I cannot give this enough Stars! This helps tremendously, we put it on our 5 year olds car seat because she sits in the middle and it is such a life saver not having to reach in to unbuckle her! She can get her herself out and help with her sisters top buckle. I wouldn't get for a kid less than 5, I know my 3 year old absolutely would try to unbuckle while we are driving. I will be purchasing another once my 3 year old is 5! It is also very easy to install and she doesn't even know it's there as far as comfortability.

This has almost been the best purchase I've ever made!! It is so handy that my kid can unbuckle themselves when we get home, soooo nice when it's raining and I don't have to stand there unbuckling them. It has been amazing to have when I have long nails and I can still get them out. Definitely worth buying. It can hook right on the seat belt so you don't lose it. Not bulky at all. Really sturdy

Great quality, easy to install, and durable. We bought this some time ago and I waited to review to see about durability mostly. It has held up very well. We bought it for our 4 year old daughter so she could unbuckle by herself. She wasn't able to do it for the first few months, but even still, it made it easier for me to unbuckle her. She has finally figured it out and loves the freedom of not having to wait for us to unbuckle her. We have 4 in car seats/booster and this has helped so much in cutting out time of climbing into the back to unbuckle (21st century problems I know). Would definitely recommend!

The product works well... However, my extremely sensory sensitive five year old does not like the "bulky touchy" feeling touching her legs from the center buckle. It's unavoidable, but something to consider before purchasing.

There are different types of unbuckler products. We’ve tried them all. This is the easiest to operate for kids and the sturdiest that will not break. It attaches to the belt and can stay there so they don’t drop or lose it. And seriously it’s solid. The other unbucklers (the little pinchy-style ones) that come in different colors are cute, but harder to attach on the buckler to use and we’ve broken At least 4 of them. And my kid is in the 1 percentile so she is absolutely not strong by any means but she’s broken 3 of them. A small underweight developmentally behind 2 year old foster kid broke a fourth one before I found out these existed. The other styles are bulkier and take up a full car seat cup holder or get knocked down when the kids are going in/out to where they cannot reach the buckler to use it defeating the purpose of them having it to be self-sufficient. This is by far a superior product. Great gift. Every parent should have this. The confidence and independence it gives my little petite child is priceless plus it makes school drop off a breeze.

This little gadget is really wonderful! No more twisting around to unbuckle my tiny 5 year old at school drop off. She also feels so confident at being a « big girl ». Easy to install, and use. Nice thick plastic and definitely worth every penny. I picked gray to fit with our car seat.

We used this for when my son was in preschool and it really helped him get out for carline!

Not only does my little boy love this, I find it incredibly helpful now that I have a newborn child to deal with my toddler can get himself unbuckled so that all I have to do is just open the car door for him and he’s out. Gives him some independence. Highly recommend for the older kiddos in front facing car seat seats.
