This product did exactly what it was supposed to do. I had a terrible algae outbreak due to high phosphates that I couldn't control. Some Phosphate Rx brought the levels down to much more manageable levels and the algae growth has now stopped. Now the snails can keep on top of the algae and it isn't taking over the tank!

Easy to use reduced phosphate immediately I aired on the side of caution with the dosing as it will bring down PH, so doing it gradually.

I'm sure this product works well but if you have tangs, don't use. I almost lost mine from respiratory issues which is stated on the box. The rest of the fish were fine. Go slow
