Good Light
It works perfectly. When charging red LED, battery full blue LED. USB C port hidden inside a socket that unscrews. Airtight bushing by rubber gasket. I like that. 16mm in diameter in the widest part. Bright light in the most intense position. Retains the load. You combine with the Leatherman. ⚠️ the switch is out of the body, if you load something that pushes it can be turned on, otherwise very good. Nobody pays me for this opinion!

Don’t use your phone as a flashlight by one of these
Nice little EDC flashlight, nice and bright very small fits in your pocket or in to your EDC bag or pouch. Nice design way better than your phone

Tiny size. Easy operation.
The ThruNite Archer Mini is an amazing value. It took about five minutes to master its well thought-out, logical operation. PROS SST20 LED; TIR Lens. Default mode 1 tap from off is low power. No high power or strobe without 2 or 3 effortless, reliable taps from low. A tap from any mode goes to off. Long (barely) press button lock and unlock; lock state easily verified. Size. Run time. Price! CONS Low pressure (about 1.2 lbs) button rules out stashing in active pockets and some carry points. Outer clip ramp too slight making it difficult pass over thick seams and onto thick cap visors or belts and straps. MEH Fancy, pretty, "premium" USB cables with oversize C plug casings won't fully seat. Strobe. Those who feast on the video reviews lighting up trees 500+ yards away will not be satisfied with Archer Mini's absolutely adequate EDC-class 408 lumens. The narrow flood pattern fully lights up my 1/3 acre backyard. A drop to 157 lumens occurs in 2.8 minutes. Discrete illumination of dark spaces is provided by the 18 lumens default.

Good, almost excellent, in most ways
This is a very good item, and the reviews are largely consistent with mine. My primary issue is with the brightest beam lasting longer without being reduced automatically. It absolutely delivers the goods with a vast, wide and bright light. But it doesn’t last more than a few minutes before a downshift. I did NOT notice a heat issue. Also, the clip to the baseball cap works well, even though it doesn’t look like a good grip. See photo. Lastly, it is TINY. Really a great item, but I am returning to get a different one that addresses my primary concern about the brightest setting lasting longer.

A Great Little Flashlight
I have a couple of these and I carry one with me each day. It is bright and easy to use. Normally I use it on its lower mode of light and that is enough. But it is nice to be able to use the bright mode occasionally when more light is needed. The strobe light mode is also nice to have as an option. I am glad it is rechargeable. Bigger and brighter flashlights have their place. But I like the size of this one as I can carry it in my pocket so that I always have a flashlight handy. It gets used much more often than my other flashlights because it is always with me. Being able to operate it with a button on the end is a big plus. It seems to be a quality item. And I am a big fan.

2 lights enter 1 light left.
I ordered 2 of these flashlights. Both took a full charge and worked great out of the box. I ordered these lights due to the reviews / testing I've seen on them. They held up to drops, ice, and are waterproof. I had one slip out of my pocket from waist high ( 3' ). I checked to make sure the light still worked and was functional and it did work right after the drop. The next day I went to use it and it didn't turn on (or flash because I keep it on lockout mode to keep it from negligently discharging). I figured it's been about a week of light use, maybe it needed a charge. After letting it charge I checked it again and It worked again. I used it for about 5 seconds on the low setting to watch my dog in the backyard, turned it on lockout mode and set it on my nightstand. I woke up this morning it and it won't turn on or flash. The indicator on the head of the light near the charging port doesn't show any indication of charge. It seems that the charge isn't holding. I'm not sure if the internal battery is draining that quickly or if the small drop knocked something loose but it's kind of worthless as an edc light if it cant handle a small drop or hold a charge for less than 24 hrs. Especially on the dimmest setting for no time at all. The second light has been used slightly and not dropped... yet. It still remains in working order. I've seen tests and reviews of these flashlights dropped from shoulder height, frozen, and the ice broken with dropping and blunt force with no issues. I guess I should have known better. I would not recommend this as an edc light if it can't handle a normal fall from a pocket or hold a charge and fail to function when you need it.

surprisingly good
ok, yes, i have an addiction. but there are so many conveniently sized, rechargeable, high lumen flashlights. i havent even touched by beloved 4sevens lights in years...and thats saying something. i have become enamored with the rovyvon lights lately...especially the lil aurora. my complaint with that light is the barely hanging on clip. this light is a bit bigger, but has a tail switch and clip that has not fallen off yet. it has taken over the alpha position in my edc...as i said, no small feat considering that i am a recovering flashaholic (recovering? didnt i just buy this light?). anyways...price, size, output...this is a winner. i'm not sure yet of its waterproof limit but i am so far impressed with everything else.

It’s a mighty fine flashlight
I bought the ThruNite Archer Mini on a whim, mostly because I needed something small, bright, and capable of making me feel prepared for situations that will absolutely never happen. And let me tell you… this little flashlight DELIVERS. First Impression: This thing is approximately the size of a fun-size Snickers bar, except it won’t melt in your pocket or cause guilt. Fits perfectly in your hand, on your hat, in your pocket, or probably inside a chip bag if that’s where you tend to misplace things (no judgment). Brightness: For something this tiny, it lights up my entire backyard like I’m hosting a police helicopter search. I fully expect my neighbors to ask if I’m starting a side job as a lighthouse. Build Quality: Feels sturdy—like it could survive being dropped, stepped on, or sent through the wash cycle (don’t ask). It’s basically the cockroach of flashlights, but in a good way. Charging: USB-C. Thank you. If I have to keep one more random cable around for a single device, I’m going to lose it. Charges fast, lasts a long time, and doesn’t complain—something I wish I could say about myself. Clip: The two-way clip lets you slap it onto a hat brim and instantly become the world’s least intimidating miner. Great for working on cars, grilling in the dark, or checking for monsters under your kid’s bed. Overall: If you need a compact EDC flashlight that punches way above its weight class, this is the one. It’s tough, bright, rechargeable, pocket-friendly, and just classy enough that you’ll show it off to your friends even if they didn’t ask.
