SwitchBot Thermometer Hygrometer, Bluetooth Indoor Humidity Meter for Home, Temperature Sensor with App Control, Large LCD Display, Notification Alerts, 2-Year Data Storage Export

Love this. Have several now, getting temperature and humidity for the rooms in my house. And very handy to ask Alexa what the temp is per room. Battery life is excellent. Mine get more than a year out of a set. And the display is easy to read.

I need to track the overnight temperature of my kitchen for dough proofing/rising, but my apartment has radiant heat with no thermostat. This thermometer has been perfect, specifically the averages over certain lengths of time.

This works really well and is a perfect size. The only issue is on me. I thought this was a two pack. Other than that, it is worth the money and tucks on to a shelf nicely.

Works well , has nice size font although the device itself isnt large the font is large so you are able to view it from a distance. The switchbot app show a bunch of data and history on the room temp, humidity, dew point levels down to the minute by minute ...so can pick the best times to run a dehumidifier . works well with the switchbot hub...this will allow you to use the hub for communication between the gadgets in you switchbot system. only thing is you need to he within bluetooth range for it to upload the data from the device to the app on your mobile device.

SwitchBot has been nailing smart devices very well. The pairing process to the mini hub I bought four years ago was very easy with the phone (the sensor starts working without even pairing). It’s amazing new sensors can still connect to older variations of the hub and wouldn’t force us to buy the new generation. So thank you Switchbot. Then if you need to use Alexa or other assistants I enabled cloud functions for each sensor from the app. Again, without a hassle. The app shows many details including temperature, dew point, vapor ratio etc.. I also enabled widgets in my iPhone; it provides simple and detailed widgets for ones like. Overall, one of the worry free experiences I had.

I've used this for a few years now. No complaints, and like this more than the hub with white backlight, as I can put this in the bedroom without light pollution. I've maybe changed batteries twice in 3 years. Does what it's supposed to do (temperature and humidity) and appears within 1-2% of the humidity measurements of the hub that's in the living room (when placed next to each other).

I kept hearing good things about Switchbot and the Meter Plus does not disappoint. As my first Switchbot product I was pleasantly surprised to receive a very nice hygrometer with soft feeling plastic and an excellent display. It immediately went up on the wall in the livingroom and blends in nicely into the decor. Being battery powered and BT enabled, you have lots of options on how to use it. From a simple readout, to a phone app or using the optional bridge for remote monitoring. I choose to use BT connected to Home Assistant where I could immediately automate my humidifier when it gets dry. Or turn on the bathroom fan when the shower is running. The Meter Plus opens up the world of home automation in a very stylish package with great battery life.

Meter Plus I bought the Switchbot Meter Plus and it was easy to set up! Now I am researching more and more about creating a smart home as someone with disabilities, and I think Switchbot will be my go-to product for it! Overall, support has been great, and the product has been even better!

I previously reviewed the smaller SwitchBot Meter temperature and humidity sensor and detailed its cutting edge advanced technology packed into such a small design at a very cost effective price, so I’ve kept the title of this review the same for those wishing to compare the two SwitchBot Meter’s. However, in my previous review didn’t provide details or photos of the sensors integration with the SwitchBot app. So I’ve decided to review my purchase of larger sibling of the SwitchBot Meter, the SwitchBot Meter Plus including that information and app photos. Whilst both units use accurate Swiss made sensors, have Matter connectivity, allow data importing and exporting, and receive regular firmware updates, the key difference is that the SwitchBot Meter Plus has a larger 3-inch display and comfort indicator icon (that can be configured in the app) when compared to the 2.2-inch display on its smaller sibling, the SwitchBot Meter. The functionality of the SwitchBot Meter Plus is the same as that of the SwitchBot Meter as detailed in my earlier review. But where both of these temperature and humidity sensors truly excel is with SwitchBot’s app integration. I use both an iPhone and a Google Pixel phone and I can confirm that the in app features are the same for the latest SwitchBot iOS app (v9.10), and the Android app (v9.11.12.13) releases. The review photos are from iOS however. Having already reviewed the SwitchBot Meter, I can say that it’s larger sibling the SwitchBot Meter Plus also packs the same punch in terms of quality design and build, temperature and humidity accuracy, functionality, at an amazing price point for such a technologically advanced device as seen by the review photos. The only downside of the SwitchBot Meter Plus is that it isn’t noted to beIP65 Dustproof/Waterproof like the smaller SwitchBot Meter. It therefore may not be suitable in certain use scenarios as SwitchBot doesn’t provide the same advice as it does of the the SwitchBot Meter as being “Safe for use in any weather, ideal for various indoor and outdoor locations, including kitchens, bathrooms, and greenhouses”. I own a combination of SwitchBot sensors located throughout my home. I personally use dedicated outdoor SwitchBot Thermo-Hygrometer’s, SwitchBot Meter’s in my bathrooms, and SwitchBot Meter Plus’ in all my other rooms including my kitchen. Unfortunately I don’t own a green house so I can’t provide info on that. Not withstanding the above, the SwitchBot Meter Plus with its larger and clearer 3-inch display is highly recommended and will definitely not disappoint.
