I bought the wrong headset the first time (USB only not QD) and had to return so didn’t get the opportunity to test this RJ9 quick disconnect (QD) adapter. I’ve since received my Jabra Biz 2300 QD Duo and plugged in this adapter and works perfectly! Because I have a plain white vtech telephone I bought from Walmart I didn’t think it would work well with a cheap $25 phone, but it did!! Every once in a while I hear a faint ticking sound but I think it’s my phone. However, the person on the receiving end has not complained at all. Not a bad trade! I will order the USB adapter quick disconnect as well! I’m very happy with my purchase!!

I bought this because it is required for the Jabra GN2110 headset. It works and I am happy with the sound quality. I docked a star because it isn't plug and play and there isn't a simple way to configure the settings - you just have to try all 10 settings and personally evaluate which one provides the best sound quality. If you have the wrong setting the sound may be good on your end and poor on the receivers line, dead on one or both ends of the line, or good quality on both ends of the line. When you connect the smart cord I recommend calling into another line while figuring out what pin setting to use. I used my cell phone for side by side comparisons and found there was a great difference in both speaker and headphone quality based on the way the dongle is configured. Once the dongle is configured the sound quality is great.

Works perfect on my old Jabra Biz 2400 II QD Duo headset. QD fits perfect, which probably sounds insignificant but the 2 cords I had before this were ratchet.

It was exactly what I needed to use my headset with a regular phone. Because of the engineering, this direct connect cord allows me to use it on phones with or without an amplifier by simply pushing the "slider" to another position. It also worked with a Siemens Open Stage VoIp phone in the ordinary handset jack. I have used it many hours, mostly with another brand base only because it was an amplifier I already had; therefore, it appears to not matter what type of base. I am using it with a binaural head set which has made a great difference in understanding clients, especially when gathering spelling and numbers. I got a good deal with this one.

Brauchte ein Adapter-Kabel um mein Jabra Headset an mein Siemens Gigaset anzuschließen. Das GN 1200 ist absolut perfekt. Vorher war die Sprachqualität des Telefons eher mäßig. Dann den Adapter angeschlossen (QD-Anschluß ans Headset, RJ10 ans Gigaset und mit einem kleinen Schraubenzieher die verschiedenen Einstellmöglichkeiten durchprobiert. Bei 7 war es optimal. Kein Rauschen, kein Brummen, keine Nebengeräusche, nur noch kristallklarer Sound. Außerdem ist das Kabel nicht glatt wie auf dem Bild, sondern es hat ein Spiralkabel, so dass man noch mehr Bewegungsfreiheit hat. Ich kann es absolut empfehlen.
