These vents did not close (nor did they even budge) after placing them in the freezer for a couple of hours. After removal from the freezer, the position did not change.

Made from cheap plastic, but seems to do the job. See how they work come winter time .

Great product, arrived in good shape, easy to install. They actually automatically close when it gets cold outside. These Vents are used for under a house on pier foundation. We closed it in underneth with Durock pover framing, added vents then stone facade to prevent pipes from freezing. These vents give the required airspace per code. Check with your local code to see how many you need per sf of space.

Poor Quality, Don't waste your money, for a little extra i would suggest vents from Temp Vent, I purchased these and they work as they should, higher quality product, When I tested the WItten vents, they don't open and close as they are suppose to, based on the temp.

Units were poor quality (fell apart during transport) but company was good to refund payment.

I haven't put this vent into operation so I don't know how accurate the opening and closing mechanism will be or how long is will last, but the vent is built better than I expected for the money.

Product so far great, still being installed by brickers. Shipped and packaged great. Also fast shipping and received in approximately 3-days.
