We’ve been feeding our dog Blue Buffalo for a while now and overall it’s been a positive experience. The ingredients seem high quality and more natural compared to some other brands we tried before, and our pup actually enjoys the taste — which is a huge plus! We’ve also noticed that his coat looks shinier and he seems more energetic since switching. That said, it’s a bit pricier than some other foods, and not every formula agrees with sensitive stomachs — so you may want to try a small bag first. Good food overall, and would recommend if you’re looking for something with fewer fillers and better ingredients.

What I love most is that he actually enjoys meal time — no more sniffing and walking away — and the kibble size is perfect for his mouth. Not every pup loves it, and sometimes the bag arrives dented from shipping, but overall this has been a reliable, tasty food that seems to support his digestion and coat condition really well. Definitely worth a shot if you want a good everyday dry food for a small adult dog!

This Blue Buffalo Life Protection Formula for small breeds is excellent quality. The kibble size is perfect for small mouths, and it’s easy for my dog to chew and digest. It really supports high energy levels—my dog stays active, playful, and satisfied throughout the day. I appreciate that it’s made with high-quality ingredients and real meat as the first ingredient, with no artificial preservatives or fillers. My dog loves the taste, and I’ve noticed a healthy coat, good digestion, and consistent energy since switching to this food.

My dogs love this brand. The food is great for their sensitive digestive systems. The food pieces make for great teeth cleaning while eating and safe due to size no choking. The product is great for my pets and their appearance.

Bought this for a Chihuahua and he doesn't get all that excited with this kibble. But he'll eventually piece and pick at it during the day. Oddly enough, my 90 lb. German Shepherd will clean the bowl in seconds if not kept away from it. The GSD gets the same stuff but for large breed senior dogs.

I've been using this dog food for my Labradoodle since the day we brought her home on 09/07/2025. She really enjoys the dog food, which is the only one she's ever had, and she has grown a lot and is very healthy. Every time she goes to the vet, they always compliment her on how healthy she is and how shiny her coat is. It's a great value for your money because it's not too expensive, unlike some other dog foods that can be pricey and may not provide the necessary nutrients for a dog's growth. I am subscribed to receive this about every two weeks to make sure she doesn’t run out, so it does last well. She has never gotten sick from eating the dog food. I would definitely recommend this dog food if you're getting a puppy and plan to keep using it as they grow, because it has worked really well for us.

The product is wonderful my dog loves it. I’ve been using it for 13 years, but what I wanna say in here because I couldn’t find any place else really is it was a mailed in plastic flimsy bag laying on top of two small plastic items ordered one being a pill box made of plastic. There were some spill of the food, but I still did not return. I checked to see if my pillbox was damaged but they still open and closed properly. It smashed the tan towels that they are still usable. Basically, I just want to say horrible terrible packaging. This should have never been put in flimsy packaging. It should have been in a box and not put in with the small plastic items laying on top of them. What happened to your quality control?

My dogs don’t love the flavor but their coat is lustrous and they are very health. I feel that their health is improved. I was using pro plan but I read some reviews of insects in the food. Sometimes the dogs would become nauseous after eating pro plan. This doesn’t happen with Blue Buffalo
