Best trash can so far. I’ve tried the step to open lid, the battery operated motion sensor, the slide top, the lift top, you name it. This is “The One!” Gentle pressure tilts the top so you can drop your trash right into the can! Just make sure you don’t use your garbage to apply the pressure (a knuckle will do) and your can top will stay clean. Stinky garbage goes in a separate bag that goes straight to the outside trash toter so no odor in the kitchen! I line the can with a plastic lift out bag to transport the trash when the can gets full. It’s sleek, sturdy, shiny and perfect. I LOVE this can!

Was looking for a like-for-like kitchen garbage can like that which I got at Sam's club 15 years ago. This is close. My previous can had a brushed nickel finish which I really wanted. But, nothing out here on Amazon appears to come with that, just standard stainless steel finish. However, it is close enough that I honestly barely notice it. Its a good can and this is by far my favorite style of all garbage cans. Btw, you just buy the amazon basics Flextra tall drawstring kitchen garbage bags 13 gallon with this, works perfectly.

Very well made, it’s the perfect size! Holds a lot. Love the function of this trash can. Wish I saw it sooner before buying several cans in the last two years.

Very nice garbage can … easy to keep clean,

Got this trash can as a replacement for my cheap plastic one (that would barely fill trash bags) and I've been loving it! This trashcan is sturdy, and a great size. I can now fill my kitchen bags all the way up before having to trudge down to the trash bin from my second story apartment. The bags are easy to get over the can, the can is secure enough that it doesn't move around, and it has handles so you can pick it up and move it. My one complaint - the swing lid seems a little small for the size of trash can. The lid is easy to remove completely without having to adjust the trash bag, so I opt for that on items that can't fit through the swing, but I don't love it. Overall, though, I would definitely recommend this trash can.

I had a SimpleHuman trash can when we first moved into our home. It was not long after that the top hinge broke. But I kept using it because I had spent so much money I'm a trashcan. Well finally the whole lid broke and I needed a new trashcan. I didn't want anything with a hinge lid, wasn't plastic, and could hold up against a family of 5. Well after research I found this trash can. It holds ALOT of trash, the swing top keeps my toddlers out of the trash, and it's very sturdy. I feel like this trashcan will hold up for a good while. I totally recommend!

My husband and son likes not having to step on anything to open it. Shopping for trashcan I read previous reviews about motion detection on trashcans stopped working after period of time, I don't have to worry about this as this trashcan has swing lift. Easy to clean, shinny, in addition trashcan is bigger than my previous one. I have gotten several compliments.

I love and hate this garbage can. The size is nice. The quality is nice. The seal on the lid is very tight. That’s the issue when you go to put garbage in and you open the lid you get washed with a horrible smell.The lid seal is to tight
