My cat loves IAMS Proactive Health Long Hair Care with Real Chicken & Salmon. He eats it happily every day and seems healthier and more energetic. Since we started this food, his fur looks so much softer and shinier. It helps reduce the hairballs too. The kibble shape is just right—easy for my cat to chew—and IAMS adds nutrients to support digestion and skin health. I also feel good that it has balanced vitamins and minerals for adult cats. This 6 lb bag lasted us a while, and I got it at a good price compared to other brands. I’m very happy with this food and would recommend it to other cat owners looking to support long, healthy fur and fewer hairballs!

I have a very finicky little Persian kitty, She was eating Iams Kitten Dry food when we got her, but when it came time to transition her to adult food, she would not have anything to do with any of them, not even even other IAMS flavors. I saw a small bag of IAMS Proactive Health Long Hare Dry Cat Food this at a local store and she loved it and it even made her hair softer and she had no more hairballs. Our short haired male cat also loves it and his hair is much softer and shiny. Unfortunately the store stopped stocking this variety of IAMS and again our Persian would not eat anything. Thankfully I found it on Amazon, and got it within a day! Please Never stop carrying it!

I bought this because the Hairball Care version was out of stock. The quality seems good, and it feels like a solid product overall. That said, my cat didn’t like this one as much. He would eat it, but not with the same excitement as the other formula. Because of that, I went back to buying the previous one once it was available again. If your cat isn’t too picky, this is still a good option, but mine definitely has a favorite. 😸

I love this cat food and so does my long-haired cat, Stella. She's always eaten IAMS, and it's been great, but it always seemed like she was barfing up hair too often. This food actually fixed it. Does she get an occasional hairball? Sure, but it's so infrequent that when it happens, I actually get surprised! Buy this. You won't regret it.

We were having an issue with our long hair cat and his respiratory problems. Our Vet suggested switching his food to something that would help with hair balls. This food almost instantly cleared things right up. We have Black Fluffy on a routine consisting of this food and daily brushing. The food has made a drastic difference in his condition, almost nonexistent now, and as an added bonus his coat is so much softer and shinier. The kernels are small enough he’s easily able to eat them. He actually enjoys the food too much. We had to buy a slow feeder because he was woofing it down so fast. I’m convinced this food is the ticket and would definitely recommend it.
