Fantastic book for Community Helpers
This book is perfect for a thematic unit on community helpers. I teach preschool special education and it’s advanced enough to get kids thinking about the roles of each person and simple enough to just do a picture walk to differentiate. The roles in the book range from construction worker, chef, beekeeper, football player, police officer, firefighter, etc. and what hat they would wear to stay safe and do their job. I love this book and it’s a great new addition

Children Book about Community Hats
Story is written with women in the role as workers. Cute, short story for children to learn to identify various hats worn by service related workers. My grandson had some interest, but wouldn't listen to the end of the book. I'll keep reading it and help him learn about what each person does in our community as he gets older.

Easy, simple and great pictures
I was so happy when this book arrived. Teaching my children about community helpers, this book was ama omg & did the job well. Being a Kindergarten teacher, it’s hard to find basic/simple books for my 4-5 year olds. Straight to the point descriptions and pictures. Very happy.

Great companion for "Whose tools are these?"
Really fun for teaching jobs and of those who work in our communities. It's really fun to let the kids (I used it to teach kindergarteners) guess who and what the profession is. Highly recommended for teaching about different jobs.

Bought in conjunction with Whose tools are these? and Whose vehicle is this? The books arrived within a couple of days in fantastic condition. A great introduction to a People who help us topic in Early Years (Nursery and Reception)

This book was quite difficult to decipher for the younger children. Although the illustrations were fab- some of the hats were difficult to identify. Not a book that you can read over and over again.

It looks like I am getting an used book. The pictures were taken right after I opened the package. Corner rip, folding, not in good shape. For a $12+ book, it really doesnt worth. The book itself is good. It's a good book for children to learn about different career by introducing their hats.
