Swan Retro Kitchen Towel Pole and 6 Cup Mug Tree, Weighted Base, One Size, Orange

They are beautiful! The quality is great, very sturdy with the base being very heavy means they’ll never topple over. The colour did not disappoint, I was looking for kitchen items to provide little pops of colour here and there and ideally match or blend with the colour of my orange Le Creuset salt and pepper grinders and this does that. They all go fabulously together. The mug tree takes 6 large mugs and the kitchen towel holder takes a large roll. Just love them, and whilst I paid full price they were well priced.

Good quality overall, the weighted bases are around 13 cm in diameter; both standing steady on three little silicone-type ‘feet’. In use, the chrome coloured contrast does need a regular buff-up, I find. On my measure, the kitchen towel holder is around 34 cm high, with some colour still showing around the base with one of the chunkier rolls in situ (images below refer). The (up to) 6-cup/mug ‘tree’ is a little higher than I would have liked at 43 cm, so doesn’t fit under my wall cupboards, but I like it just the same! It is relatively heavy when laden. Exactly as shown in the current stock images above, the 2 came assembled, ready for your own accessories. With a choice of colours currently available, IMO the boxed duo would make a great wedding or house-warming gift. In this case, it is an end-of-year present for me and I love this cheery bright orange that is similar in shade to other items I have dotted around the kitchen. 2-year guarantee (from the cardboard box).

I’ve been after these for a while and waited to get them at a bargain price of £9.99. They arrived today and look gorgeous next to all my orange Le Creuset kitchenware and the mug tree is now the new home for my multicoloured Le Creuset mugs. I am thankful that they come tightly wrapped in plastic inside as the box must have been stored somewhere damp, it absolutely stinks and when you look inside you can see the white furry mould on all four sides of the box. Fortunately the plastic wrapping kept the items clean and undamaged. I gave them a wash in hot soapy water anyway and they look great. I’m wondering if due to getting damp that was why they were a bargain price. If you are going to purchase this as a gift for someone (they would make a nice gift) it might be a good idea to have it sent to yourself first so you can check it’s not mouldy.

The orange colour certainly brightens up the kitchen. Most importantly is that it is very sturdy so no worries about taking cups from one side and have it overbalance. I only intended to buy the cup stand but got a bargain with the kitchen towel holder with it. So, changed my boring hold chrome one for the orange and now have a lovely pair of functional and bright kitchen accessory’s . Very good quality from a good brand. Nothing to dislike.

This was a real bargain, heavy enough to not tip over, and a lovely colour.
