Excellent leaf blower
Worx seems to have upgraded this product to have a leaf vacuum as well. Since I only wanted the leaf blower, I was happy to get this from Amazon. The 40v gives you a pretty powerful leaf blower. It’s enough for a relatively small garden before the batteries die, but the key thing is it’s powerful. I think it would struggle with very wet leaves, but it’s perfect if you time your leaf clearing for a dry day. It’s not too noisy. Way quieter than a petrol leaf blower. No ear muffs required. It’s light enough with just the main handle, but even I, as a reasonably strong man, struggle a little to do the whole garden. I switch hands every couple of minutes, so it’s fine. The main thing is it’s just so easy to use.

Thank goodness I came up to date with A WORX BLOWER
I have used motor blower of the best of makes for years and years. Everyone complained about the noise, and they are heavy. They need servicing and sometimes they won't start at all ! Enter my new WORX top notch battery powered blower ! Welcome ! You are light, quiet and have a terrific range of speeds and therefore power. You blow leaves even when wet. You blow stones from my drive out of the garage, and you even clear out the hoover pipe when it's blocked. Wonderful and easy to use even for my wife. My neighbour (who doesn't do gadgets ) asked me to get him one too. He's very happy !

More than powerful enough to dry a car (as well as tidy up leaves)
Really impressed with this Worx Nitro WG585E leaf blower. Like one of the other reviewers, I actually bought this to dry my (new) car and avoid needing to use drying towels which inevitably scratch the car. I also live in a flat and have no access to electricity outside the flat. The car is ceramic coated, which means the leaf blower is more than powerful to blow the water off - not sure how effective it would be for an uncoated / unwaxed car, but I expect much less so based on my general research. With the blower on level 3 and my finger on the turbo button, I'm left with 3 bars of 5 on the batteries after spending about 8 mins drying a compact SUV. Without turbo, it takes about 10 minutes and uses 2 of 5 bars. Its not quiet, but I don't find it particularly noisy or need to wear ear defenders. I don't find it overly heavy either, but do use two hands when lifting it above the car to dry the roof. Holding it pointing down/in front of you in its natural position for blowing leaves on the floor is very comfortable and well balanced (not that I blow leaves very often). I also find it more than powerful enough to blow wet or dry leaves. However, I don't not have experience of powerful diesel/petrol/mains-operated blowers to compare to. As one of the other reviewers said, its very good value if you are already invested in worx's products and have additional batteries. I'd definitely recommend this leaf blower for car drying or leaf blowing, particularly if you do not have access to electricity.

An impressive addition to my collection of battery operated garden implements
This leaf blower surpassed all expectations, didn’t expect it to have the power it produces. Admittedly, I had to resort to the turbo selection for very wet leaves on flagstones, but other than that it performed well, as far as battery usage time goes it is difficult to estimate as I was using the turbo selection for some of the time, but did manage to clear a medium sized garden with battery to spare. Haven’t had the blower long ,but the unit seems well built and quite sturdy. The only problem I have got is trying to register the blower for the extended warranty time , which is an ongoing problem.

Better than expected
Not tried it on big areas of wet leaves, but I used it frequently as the leaves fell it worked really well. My garden is not large so the batteries coped well. So far I’m very pleased with it.

Powerful electric leaf blower
Well balanced and easily used leaf blower with good power range. Batteries have limited life when used at higher power settings. A second set of batteries is essential for completing large areas.
