Wow, these are some nice chairs! Made of real wood, these chairs are quite heavy and solid. They look nothing like folding chairs, even though they do fold up to a storable size. The padding in the seat is firm, but giving, so it is quite comfortable, and will probably hold up for many years. The seat cover appears to be a faux leather, but you won't mistake it for real leather. It does look nice though. The backrest is also very nice, if not a bit too far leaned back for me. I prefer a more upright chair, but it is far from uncomfortable. Also, leaning back, I don't feel like the chair will break or strain. The "espresso" dark brown color matches our decor perfectly. Overall, a fantastic set of chairs for the price!

I needed a couple of extra chairs around our dining room table when we have more guests. These chairs are great. They look nice, are comfortable, easy to fold and put away and perfect size.

Not disappointed! They arrived in perfect condition. The package came early which was delightful because I needed these the next day for a ladies’ luncheon. They arrived in perfect condition and matched my dark wood dining room chairs. Compared to my other chairs, however, they look very small. It took me a while to figure out how to open them. They are very stiff but I think that adds to their feel of sturdiness and quality. The reviews were mostly positive. The price was decent in comparison to other products I looked at.

I bought four of these chairs, and in general I like them a lot. However, two of them had exposed staples poking out that I had to trim away. I also recommend having chair glides/pads handy. But they're good looking and sturdy and I'm a satisfied customer.

Extremely well designed and already assembled. The chairs are comfortable and look good and had a bonus perk of being balanced even when folded. Went perfectly with the foldable dining room table I had purchased for them since I live in an apartment and need to maximize my space usage. They are a bit more on the red-ish brown side than the darker brown side in certain lightings for those that care about coloring when matching a table to them. I am very happy with their quality and design!

These chairs are comfortable, sturdy, easy to unfold, portable, perfect for the little dining table in my Air BnB kitchen, and the colors fit well with my decor. They were well packaged and arrived undamaged.

Got a set of these for when I put the leaf in our dining table. They are really comfortable and store easily as well. They also look good. Really recommend!

I’ve given these chairs an overall rating of “3” because that is the average of the two ratings i would like to be able to give on this basis: 5 — Structure. The chairs feel sturdy, certainly as well supported as one should expect a folding wooden chair (i.e., not meant to withstand recurrent use by substantial bodies or rowdy adolescents). They also fold and unfold easily. Plus, they are comfortable: the backs are slightly angled and the seats, well padded. Because they are an inch or two taller than most folding chairs, they will be more comfortable for taller folks (and will be more compatible when using with many dining room chair styles). 1 — Finish. The stain is uneven in places, and there are mars in the varnish. (I’ve attached a picture that shows one of the mars.) But most disappointing is the color itself: it is not espresso. It should be a very dark brown, almost black, with possibly some hints of reddish brown in strong light. As you can see from my other two photos taken in strong light, the chairs are essentially bright red with some hints of brown. Now, in case you thing I am being unrealistic for inexpensive furniture, understand that I have purchased two other equally inexpensive pieces of furniture in espresso via Amazon, and they have much better finishes. Further, one is a true espresso and the other is somewhat lighter (but it matches the product display shots so I knew what I was getting). The product shots of these chairs, unfortunately, were not taken in strong light; consequently, they look much darker and browner than they are in person. I will be keeping these chairs since they are comfortable but only because I have quite subdued light (both natural and artificial) in my dining room. In short, the blemishes and bright red tones don’t show up. Should you buy these chairs, make sure that you fold them up carefully to avoid damaging the finish on the chair backs. (The wooden edge of the chair bottom rests against the back of the chair when collapsed.) I recommend an extra precaution of sliding a towel between the seat edge and the back when collapsed.
