This set is the perfect, adaptable model, forming various possible positions and is very unique. Takes up no space. I keep it in the plastic it came with so as not to lose the smaller piece and to keep it in the best possible condition. Will get you out of a lot of unforeseen configurations!

Love the way it can be the not so typical 1/4” ratchet the way it can lock in many positions other than a 90 degree. Also love the way it can act as a T handle and one more thing the end of the ratchet can accommodate bits…

Some 'assembly' is required. All the separate parts makes it versatile, but also fiddly. I had to spend a lot of time in assembly making sure the bit, the socket, extension bar, and ratchet direction was put together before correctly going on to the fastener, and then once I was on the fastener I had to concentrate on not making any movement that would cause the tool to come off the fastener or come apart into its separate pieces. Granted, the hex to square drive bit is held in to the ratchet with a pretty good amount of friction so it doesn't come apart too easily, but I still had to be careful. Once I put a socket on it, that socket is held on by the ball detent with so much more force that to try to pull the socket off the bit will instead pull the bit off the wrench. Then I had to use incredible force in my fingers to grip the tiny hex bit and pull the socket off. It can become painful after a while. The thing I like most is the extension bar. It can extend the reach of the tool, or extend the lever of the tool, or turn the tool into a T handle wrench. The extra leverage is very helpful, however maybe it's too much leverage for the tool to handle. In trying to break a stubborn bolt, I applied force in the wrong direction and stripped the teeth in the adjustable head angle locking mechanism. As far as 1/4 inch drive ratchets go, it's definitely on the thinner and longer side which can be a plus for reaching in to tight spots and getting the leverage needed.

Shockingly useful tool in a pinch with a fraction of the weight. If you're like me who tries to min-max cross compatibility with 11-1 setups on a hip pouch this will open up a lot of panels and exhaust motor mounts for you without the need to carry an impact. This thing filled a niche I didn't even know I needed till I got it and started swapping parts into it. Frankly I wish I could issue this instead of an impact to my team because we'd have a hell of a lot less stripped bolts and screws on commercial equipment. With the extension you can torque down a motor mount *just enough* but not to much. With the extension you can break free a ton of stuff that's gotten about two hits to hard of the BRAPP BRAPP because some mouth-breather with an itchy trigger finger has no concept of materials malleability. Won't say it's the cheapest. Wish I'd gotten the model without the T handle sleeve (the pictures are the older model the one you get is an 'upgrade') so I could go really gorilla grunt on it. But for the profile and options it presents with a good hip pouch I won't complain. Highly recommended for those on the fence. Get it and stuff it in your quick access bag just to see what options present themselves.

I've long been searching for a small 1/4 ratchet that can do bits and sockets, on a flex head, with some method for an extension when needed for access. I've also broken this style of ratchet when trying to break things free, so there had to be a way to break a fastener free without endangering the ratchet mechanism. This checks all the boxes and is very well made. You can slip the extension into the head by aligning the flat on the extension with the dot on the ratchet and now you have a t-handle that you can apply a good amount of torque without worrying about breaking it. The handle spinner is an added bonus to speed up the t-handle even more. The beauty of the pass through bit ratchet is Leatherman flat bits fit in there and the retaining ring works with them if oriented correctly in relation to the snap ring. They don't work with the magnetic bit holders, but if you can carry the Leatherman bit extension you can use that with the magnetic bit holders. The included 1/4 socket adapter insert also engages with the retaining ring in the ratchet, so you avoid the frustration of losing your adapter with the socket. However, it doesn't have a retaining ring on the end of the t-handle or the extension, so you can occasionally lose the adapter with the socket. They clearly tried to make the magnets as strong as possible, but that can only do so much. The only improvement I would make to this tool would be adding a retaining ring to the extension and t-handle end, much like a higher quality bit insert holder.

I bet the ratchet is great. Wouldn't know for sure as I'm in Washington state and my order was sent to Missouri somehow. I'll update this if I ever get my order. Update purchased elsewhere so I'd actually get it. I've had it for months abs it works great as a bit driver. The torque is fairly high for its size. That being said I wouldn't use it on any socket larger than 1/2 inch or 12mm. If you need a bigger socket than that you probably need a larger drive wrench.

This thing now comes everywhere, it’s lightweight and capable. Best new addition for my flight kit.

Great mini rachel handle. I keep this in a compact tool kit and use it with the Klein 7 in 1 socket set. Despite it being so slim it fits well in the hand and has a surprisingly fine ratchet mechanism. Although I do use the t-handle feature a lot it does come in handy. Highly recommend picking one of these up.
