I'm 69. Deal with arthritis pain especially in my knees and feet. I don't like to take too many pain killers and am not on prescribed medication by choice. So, I take turmeric and just started with this stuff. I did my research prior and this brand kept coming up in a good way. I just finished my first 8 oz container, blending two scoops into my morning coffee. I am honestly amazed, really, at how well this works! Now, with Spring finally approaching, I will be walking more, riding my bike and doing other physical activities more in conjunction with this product and the turmeric. I feel like I CAN do those things with much less pain and a bit more flexibility. There's a slight vanilla taste to it in my coffee, but along with my creamer, it actually tastes pretty good. I've not tried it with anything else. Seriously, I have not been a happy camper because my spirit has been willing, but my joints didn't agree. I'm much closer to living the way I want and need to.

I have tried collagen in the past for joint pain relief, without effect. I wanted to try it again. I selected this product because it also contains meaningful amounts of MSM and hyalauronic acid. I have tried this for a couple of weeks and have not noticed an improvement dramatic enough to attribute to the supplement. In its favor, MSM and hyalauronic acid are 2 supplements that may very well be effective against joint pain. Other supplements I have reviewed either do not contain them, or contain a bunch of other stuff with little evidence of efficacy. So even if the collagen doesn't work, the other stuff might. The big problem for me was the taste. It is called a "caramel" flavor. This was the only version with the above combination of ingredients. Every morning I force my self to drink a concoction which unsuccessfully tries to mask the flavor. I will not be ordering this again. To be fair, some reviewers say they love the flavor. Not me.

Love this!! I am dealing with gluteal tendinopathy from menopause and could barely walk after sitting. It took about 2 months but now I can do it no problem. Still waiting for it to help me sleep on my side and walk up stairs, but I've had this for many years and it will take time to help it

There's a reason this flavor was priced lower. I only tried one serving in my coffee and it was hideous to my taste buds. The stevia was up front with salt secondary and caramel far behind as an after taste. Lingering stevia. Just not my jam. I've never tolerated sugar "alternatives" well. If there's just a hint of it, I can "name that sweetener!" This was just over the top. Basically tossing it, no one in the house was positively impressed.

This tastes great and I am already feeling the positive results of daily collagen intake.

This Caramel flavor is unpleasantly sweet. Vanilla Yoplait yogurt is the best mixer that we have found so far. It does not combine well with coffee or protein shakes that already have stevia or other sweeteners. I hope Great Lakes will produce an unflavored, unsweetened Joint powder because it is great to have the joint focused additions to their plain collagen powder. I can't say if it contributes to pain reduction yet.

It's early days, but since I started taking this about 3 weeks ago, I've noticed my nails growing really fast and breaking less easily. My hair also has a smoother texture and tangles less.
