The Mega Crossword Puzzle Book #2 is probably the 5th crossword puzzle book I ordered from Simon & Schuster. Solving crossword puzzles is one of the ways to enhance mental acuity as you get older. For some reason, I find this version to be a little bit more challenging to solve than previous versions...but, still a load of fun! 5 stars!

Crossword puzzles are proven to improve brain function, memory, and knowledge. It's like a Jeopardy round on paper with subjects like: geography, literature, history, science, sports, movies, tv, food, politics, pop culture, etc. There's also the satisfaction of finishing one (answers are in the back just in case!) Each book has 300 puzzles, keeping you busy every day for nearly a year. I've ordered 22 of them over the years. True story.

I love all the books in this series. They are always available even when the internet is down. The level of difficulty is just right for me. Some puzzles are pretty hard; others not so bad. Answers in the back can be used if you get stuck.

I love crosswords and these were not too simplistic, yet strong enough to make me pause and think for clues. Have bought several in the series and am quite pleased.

I very much enjoy Simon and Schuster 's Crossword books. However, this current one contains numerous pages that are not usable due to major ink smudges. I hope that this situation is a one time occurrence.

We love the mega crossword books. Not too hard, and fun.

I like Simon & Schuster crossword puzzles, they're a challenge and also being able to pull the puzzle page from the book, makes it easier for me to work on, less cumbersome.

My husband loves these crossword books. He started them about 6 months ago & he actually asked me if I could get more. That is a first. He has finished 8 full books now, & his vocabulary has improved. While this is irritating, I do like that crosswords & most puzzles are known to help with cognition in the aged.

My senior friend just loves these crossword puzzles its nice that there are over a 100 puzzles to do in one book,, great.

Love this whole line of crosswords! Started from book #1 and am currently on 11 and won't stop until I've done them all.

Not up to standard, perforated pages not good when nearing end of book….
