The Hee Creek Ophiopogon Herb/ Mai Dong has an interesting scent, a sweet herbal scent. Following directions for a simple steep in a cup of boiling water, it has a very light herbal slightly sweet taste. The Ophiopogon did not turn soft and didn't expand much after steeping, it looks plump, and it has a crisp crunch when bit into it. The steeped liquid is easy to drink. Going to try the seller's suggested brews to get some nourishment.

The Ophiopogon root came in a sealed bottle. Large perfect pieces with no crumbs or small bits. flavor is rich and deep similar to ginseng. I normally drink this as a tea by adding some goji berries to it as well, doesn't take much to get the flavor out, I put 3 roots in a cup of tea. Highly recommend this to anyone that's already using the root, Comes in a nice small bottle and sealed to know its safe and keeps its freshness,
