Was delivered on time. Was easy to install, with included instructions. Works just as advertised.

So simple I thought I missed something.
Seriously as simple as digging a trench, laying it in, burying it, and connecting the wires to the control panel. Took all of 15 minutes from opening the box to testing it and driving home.

Does not work.
I understand that the Ghost Controls gate opener is among the least expensive options when it comes to automatic gate openers. I can live with some minor headaches that come with going cheap, but this sensor keeps giving two signals when a car drives by (apparently one for each axle,) causing the gate to open and immediately close again. I dug it up and repositioned it, but it simply does not work. Again, the opener itself works fine (as long as there is no wind pushing the gates inwards,) but this sensor along with the keypad are junk.

Works Perfectly!
I tried to off-brand units and they did not work and had no tech support. I spent the extra $30 to get Ghost Control's unit and VERY happy that I did! It is well worth it....

Here is how to calibrate the wand. Works good.
Received one wand and it immediately opened the gate with no metal present. Turned the power on/off at the gate box then unhooked the white wire - still did not work. Per Ghostcontrol tech support here is how to recalibrate this wand: Good Afternoon, I'm Dalton from Ghost Controls technical support team. I read the description you gave and it does seem to be a problem with the vehicle sensor, I'd like you to try a full re-calibration at this time. Remove both the vehicle sensors RED and WHITE wires from the control board. Wait approximately 15 minutes, to allow any residual power to drain, then reattach the WHITE wire only. Wait an additional ~15 minutes then reattach the RED wire. This will trigger a full re-calibration of the wand. Ensure that during this process there are no vehicles or any other metal objects in the vicinity of the sensor, as well as the placement of the sensor is approximately 20 feet from the fence and buried 10-12 inches into the ground. If this does not solve your issue please let me know by responding to this email so I can contact you for further troubleshooting.
