Hohner Harmonica Harmonica, Black (MZ20193)

Purchased as a gift. Very pleased

Well made case,material similar to divers wet suit.inside the 7 pockets are stretchy but close together.i had no problem inserting marine band type harmonica.but I have a couple of wider rocket type harps and they were a bit tight going in,not a big issue but fiddly.case looks quality with the hohner badge.case nice and compact.will buy another one for all my low keys.

I thought this was a bit expensive before I bought it, but it was worth the extra. It’s much better quality than the less expensive one I bought and looks great. I also have a larger case, but this is an ideal size for carrying my 7 favourites around. I can’t say that the one I was sent smells as all. It’s just what I needed, and as my collection of harps grows I’ll probably be buying more.

I use Lee Oskar harmonicas which come with linking boxes. Over time these have broken and are also quite large with a full set. I chose these for the Hohner name and they seemed the most suitable from description. The case takes my 8 harps, although the flap feels like it isn't quite long enough to close flat against the velcro. So far however it has stayed shut when closed. The material is good and feels like there is good padding for the inevitable floor drop. Biggest bonus is this case takes up less space on my mic stand shelf. Overall this is good, but probably overpriced for what it is.

I thought there would be a harmonica in the box

I've been looking for a smaller case for the harmonicas I use at gigs. This case for 7 by Hohner is the ideal gig case. It doesn't take away much room and still protects the harmonicas nicely. For some reason the construction of the flap isn't ideal. I had to return the first and the second was better, but till not perfect. The issue is that when the harmonicas are in the case the flap/lid hardly closes because it's designed too short, or the place where the lid folds is slightly at the wrong place. I hope they fix this issue wherever they build it. Also the velcro could have been used more generously. There are only two small badges which are barely able to hold the velcro together. After using and bending it many times it gets much better though. By now I don't have any issues with it any more. Overall, for the design and use I still give it 5 stars because I hope the faulty lid is a small temporary production error.

I bought this case as a gift and it didn't disappoint. Hohner makes very nice harmonicas and this is the case to keep them it.

I love the spaciousness of the case and multiple, secure straps for holding various harmonicas. It even has two zipper pouches. The case is stylish looking as well as appears to be sturdy. I've only had it a couple of weeks, but do use it a couple of times of weeks. I transport it inside of my music backpack, but it I could carry it by itself since it has a removable shoulder strap.
